got to go and wake princess up... no sleeping after 4pm or she won't go to bed tonight. we had a yummo bfast out today, at a cafe near the river. i love going out for bfast.

ainsleigh is also doing so much more.... i said to dh that she seemed to have a massive do everything better all around valentines day.

woo hoo to all those who are getting teeth. yay to chrissy, belle, and kell for finally getting a meet up organised.... think that you guys are meeting up the same day as us. melbournians you should get organised too... so great to spend time with people you meet here.

Ness (and any others with stuffy babies), have you elevated the head end of Annika's cot? Or try taking them in a steamy bathroom, or burning some eucalyptus oil, or putting a vapouriser in their room.

rach - he's a good looking lad. How big is he now, cause he looks huge! (in a good way of course) I've only looked at a couple of pics so far. I'll look at more after feeding Nina and putting her to bed.

rikki - I too don't like Nina having a nap any time after 4pm. But unfortunately she went to sleep at 4.30 before, but she's tired now so hopefully she'll be in bed by 7.

adele - hope you're feeling a little better now.

ETA: Forgot to say Sharleen emailed me this morning and she has a few things going on and probably won't be posting for a week or so. She will be lurking though. So Sharleen - take care of yourself and hope to see you on here soon.

ok Hornsby is great i do prefer wenes 14th, but if you cant do that belle, mon 12th is fine..........i will be there around 9.30am, as my kids catch the bus at 7.30, and i have to be back by 2.40 so i will leave when my kids go to school, but if thats to early i can do a bit of shopping while i wait

Big hellos to EVERYONE here... sorry if I have somehow offended anyone by accidently ignoring them. Like most of us, I get too busy to reply to all the posts by the time I have finally read all the existing posts... if I even get time to post at all.

Anyway, I am just going to mainly lurk here for a while - if I do not post, I cannot p*ss anyone off by (accidently) missing them in personals; this is not the first time that someone has been upset by being forgotten and it is just getting too damn hard to keep everyone happy.

Hello ladies. Well all but one of our visitors are G-O-N-E. Thankgod. I always like the first day or so of having visitors and then by day 3 Im annoyed and wishing it were over. We ended up with 6 adults here last night (Dh and I, our friends J & M, J's sister and Dhs other workmate) and everyone bar J and I went out to a club. I was so not happy as if theyd given us notice we could have gotten a babysitter for an hour or two and gone as well. Anyway Im knackered so when Jett goes to bed in a little while I will be too! DH is watching the NAB cup with his mate (who isnt the least bit interested lol)
Jett has decided that he will crawl backward. We get all excited when he's up on his hands and knees then he gets on tippy toe and goes backwards. He finally said Dad-Dad to Dh yesterday, he was so happy lol

Yay for all the new milestones and teeth! I think Jett is about the last baby to not have teeth yet. I think theyre coming though.

Maz, yep we are TTC #2 although we arent going to stress about it til our OBGYN-6mth time limit is over in August. If it happens it happens if it doesnt I can deal, atleast then there will be min 2yrs between them. God will give us a BFP when he see's fit As for a meetup, we certainly do have to organise one soon! And if the Melb gals have one I can make that as well if I have enough notice.
Rach, you asked about the rota vax. We havent had it as I didnt know about it. When he has his 6mth needles I will bring it up with the nurse, if she does it he'll have it. If not he can wait a bit longer I guess.
Shell, ugh what is it with Dhs There should be a trade in centre we can take them too, upgrade to a better model each year lol

anna- i wasnt ****ed off it just gets to the point where you point in a question and no one answers you. I have noticed that when people put in a post and is asking someone a question that person should answer aleast.

thanks honey, he was 8.1kg last Tuesday we sought of measured him and he is around 67cm so big LOL

Are we fighting? I don't want to fight. Perhaps we can put questions in bold if we desperately need them answered. I know I've had stuff missed, but if I still need it answered, I'll just say it again. I'm sure we all understand how things can get missed, there are so many of us and it is easy to miss people, but that's not usually from lack of caring.
Let's not 'some people this' and 'other people that' - we're all mates, if someone isn't going well and we miss it then shout out! We need to be direct with each other, I really really care about you guys, but I just don't have the time or skills to psycho-analyze everyone's posts, I mean, it took me a full minute just to spell psycho-analyze. If we have worries, we should share, or get someone else to share for us - and if it gets missed, then type it big and bold so we can't miss it again!

I think I'm verging on a 'ramble' and you do not want to fall prey to my ramblings or you will all end up rocking back and forth in corners, cuddling your knees to your chest muttering 'there's no place like home. There's no place like home'.

The moral of my story is (and I know most of us feel the same way), I care about you all, you're like my online sisters, and if I miss you, I'm sorry, but I know you understand.
Please check the number and try again - I might have been busy or distracted the first time, but I'll try to answer the phone a second time around!

I guess we both need support going through this crap time and every bit helps. I always am grateful for my friends on here who acknowledge and support me and always thank them too.

Nessa - the sessions are very good, I recommend it if you feel you and DH would benefit from them.

Chrissy - Wed 14th is great, I usually feed Julia around 9.30 so will feed her and then be on my way to meet you both! so may be there around 10 or 10.15...

annat - yay on Jett being on the move! Even if it is backwards!! Nina gets up on her toes and moves backwards too. Don't think she even knows she's doing it. She's only done it 3 times so far though. I don't think she'll be an early crawler, which suits me just fine cause I haven't baby-proofed the house yet ... been talking about doing it now for a few months. I'll eventually get there!

nelle - I agree, lets move on from this. We are not fighting, and I for one will not let us fight! What time did you eventually get to bed?

AnnaT.. mum left yesterday too and i know how you feel. She was here since Wednesday.. dont get me wrong i love seeing my mum but first few days are all good and fun then im over having to be entertaining. I love just having days to myself and not have to plan when to eat or what to do.

Whoever is feeling theyre not getting the support they need from us i am really sorry. Just yell at us ok. Like the others have said it is just hard trying to keep up with everyone and everything.. we do try our best but as mums we get super busy and especially with the months to come as our bubs are more on the move there will be less time we have to take our eyes off them. So please dont anyone take anything personal as there is no hatered or bad feelings in here, we love each other and a one big family

Rach.. we measured Jess yesterday and he's 72cm long!!!! makes sense that he weighs 9.1kgs! (hasnt put on any weight over the past 2 weeks but has grown in length).. think thats because he's now so mobile and is starting to lose the weight?
Oh Jack is so cute! Love his lil chubba cheeks!! Btw.. thats so great all f his milestones over the last month! Boy theyre growing up quickly arent they!

Nessa.. any more yummy cakes coming? i love seeing them! Wish you were close, id pay you to do Jess's Christening cake! Hows Annika going? Her cold getting any better?

Chrissy/Belle.. yep Wed the 14th March is good by me.. 10.15-30am is good by me. Jess ususally has a bottle around 10 so ill get there early and go feed him before we meet. Cool! Gonna put it on the calendar now.. how exciting!!!!!

Shellbell.. hey, has your FIL heard of "Goji" Juice? Its suppose to help cancer or something? Its quite expensive, like $50 per Litre but is suppose to be really good stuff. I think you can get it at most Health shops.

Ok.. Jess time.. Jesses now started giving cuddles too! And well sucking my neck like a lil vampire! Have to stop him quick as a hicky from my son wouldnt be a good look! lol
MIL yesterday.. OMG she drives me more insain everytime i see her. Grabs Jesse off Grahame when we get there takes him outside and he starts crying. So anyways i take him and play with him on his mat. She later says to me that a girl at work has a baby 1 month younger than Jess and the Grandparents are always around so the baby doesnt get upset when people come around. She said see youre home by yourself all the time so thats not good for Jesse.. i said no im not. And Jesse is fine with everyone else. He's fine when mum came over, he's fine with all my friends and when strangers talk to him at the shops etc he gives them big smiles, i said no i dont agree with that at all. She said oh well its nothing for you to be worried about, i said no im not worried cos hes fine with everyone else. She said so when are you starting mothers group. I said probably not until he's about 12 months or so she said Oh.. i said i go out enough and spend alot of time with friends and their kids. We're happy with what we're doing now. EHHH! She is just so you have to do this you have to do that.. blah i dont have to do squat if i dont wanna! Oh and then she said i think i can see some red in Jesse's hair. (in a bad way) DH said i think its just from his hair changing from dark brown (when he was born) to blonde.. no theres definately some red there.. i said doesnt matter if there is who cares.. he's cute no matter what hair colour he has. I just so wanna slap her sometimes!
FIL is doing ok.. he said he has to go back to the specialist this week to work out a plan on when they start chemo etc.

Ok best go, Jess has been whinging for the past half hour.

Kelly OMG MIL can be a pain in the behind can't they, when FIL grabs Jack and he gets sooky he has told him to shut up you have to get used to poppy, I let it go a few times then though screw this, took him back and said no he doesn't if he doesn't like something then I will not force it with him, since I stood up to them they have been real good with not rushing in but letting him just ease into it, also my MIL is the opposite re mums group she can't understand it

well best go while jack is happy and race down and put some washing on line, we bought a play pen for Agnes and after Jack performance of the weekend and thinking i need something here for when I am not sitting withhim LOL
