you've all motivated me to do a page for my mum for mothers day. thought i would buy the album and do one page every year (or for significant occassions). where did you say you bought the easy DIY album nelle. don't want to go to a scrapbooking shop, think that might be a tad overwhelming.
An easy DIY album!! Aww nuts, I didn't get one of those Rikki! I just went to kmart, cos they've got 20% or 10% off scrapping stuff at the moment.
I just bought 2 albums (Kell said to get ones where the pages slide in), then picked paper for the backgrounds, then picked other paper like corrugated stuff and scrap stuff, then picked up a few embellishment things, like stickers and tags and whatever.
I've slid the backgrounds in, and I think I'm going to blutack my layout onto the plastic first. Then if it needs that something special, I don't think I'll be quite as intimidated going into Spotlight or a specialist store, knowing exactly what I want.
So far, it's not as hard as I thought it would be (apart from choosing photos), but then again, I haven't got very far yet!!
I'm thinking now instead of making a scrapbook for mother's day, maybe make one page and get it framed, just won't be able to use any big sticky out bits.
I like the name Carys too, oh and I watched another show on home and health channel today, this time they had a set of twin and sextupluts so 8 kids they had under 4!
Maz that sucks with all that going on, the hardest part must be just not really knowing what is going on. Keep your chin up.

Nelle - its prn Ca-riss with the CA sound being like the first part of Ca-t. Its Welsh and means 'love'.
Yep Maz CZJ used it for her daughter Im surprised its not more popular but I like that about it, its what I aim for
For boy he will either be Thijs or Corbin. Thijs is prn TYCE, is dutch form of Mathew which is Ry's mn
If Ry had no say (and Im pretty sure Im just going to tell him what it will be called to avoid the fiasco that occurred while trying to name Jett) they would be either:

As for scrapping - I bought a photo album, instead of a scrapbook album, that had the black paper pages in it with the white crepe paper between the pages. Much easier to scrap with than the slip-in-plastic pages of a scrapbook and they also usually have alot more pages. Something to think about in the future scrappers if you dont already use them! Maz - I would go to the Drs honey. Get a b/t done to know for certain. I really hope its a BFP and just the HPTs being weird.
Shell - you could get one of those box frames that are like a little box but its a frame and hangs on the wall? Picture boxes I think theyre called.
I have not touched my scrap book stauff since I did all our congrats cards from Baileys birth. I was planning on making cards for MIl and my Mum so I really need to get a wriggle on before I run outta time. Did anyone do any with their ultrasound pics etc from their pregnancy?
My GF does magic stuff with her scrap booking, cards, albums, invitations, everything.
Anyways, just passing through. Bails just ate his biggest breakfast in over a week and it was not even 2 tablespoons of cereal. Atleast he has eaten. Damn teeth.
Vixstar.. cool we'll have to work out a time to have coffee and get our little men together! Oh blah! I have the tv on all day! Jesse just watches the ads but peh whats it gonna do to them at that age. If they were 3 or 4 years old and sitting in front of the telly when its a beautiful day outside then yeh maybe. I once had a friend tell me that it was really bad for Jesse that he would sit and watch the Simpsons when he was 2 months old!!!!!! Peh. You do what you wanna with Bailey.. and you are a great mum!! Dont let anyone make you think youre doing the "wrong" thing.. as whatever you think is best is ALWAYS right!

Shell.. oh thats what Jesse is doing waking at 1am and crying then going back to sleep! Oh these soul mate kids! But he's back out when i put the dummy back in? DH said this morning i wonder if hes waking cold? Could Ash be cold? But he felt fine? Hes wearing the 2.5 tog grobag with a long sleeve body suit and a flannelet PJ top.. but who knows! I feel the cold so maybe hes like me? Might have to try something a little more tonight. Oh thats a great idea for mothers day!! Ive seen some real nice frames at Lincraft that are painted and stuff for scrapping! Oh i might have to steal your idea!!!!!

Having been giving Jesse his Grandpa's stew which is made with awhole heap of meat and vegies, all blended up.. and oh he's been having wicked smelling poos from it! Oh.. they are potent! Am gonna just have to give it to him every second or third day i think.. ohh man.. stunk the house out twice today!!!!!
Ugh I have the worst backache and I just keep feeling like Im going to go to the loo and AF will be there. Stupid huh? Ive just suddenly gone all "OMG this one isnt sticky either". So much for staying positive
Ry came home for lunch, we had fried eggs on toast yummo its been a looooooooooong time since Ive had eggs on toast. Tempura Fish, Rosemary and Garlic roast potatoes and vegies for dinner tonight, yum yum yum!
I have a full on clinger today! Shes always been a clingy bubba but never this bad, I've barely been able to put her down! its exhausting, just put her down for a nap, she'd better sleep seeing as she only had a short one this morning which wouldn't have helped.
Kell- I wondered that too and have been putting on bit more clothing, and add a little blanket over her after her 10:30ish feed but still made no difference, I'm wondering if its a habit thing? Who knows, hopefully she'll see she is not getting fed and not bother waking!
AnnaT- that this is a sticker, I'm feeling positive for you. And that picture box not bad idea, I will see what creation I end up with and then can see if I need a pic box or plain frame.

someone was saying their bub totally bipassed the rocking stage, that's what Nina has done, she thinks it's too hard.
Her rash has come back on her bits, so went to the dr and it's thrush. The cream we've got here is the right one so we'll keep putting that one on her. Apart from that, not much happening, public holiday here so Heath is home today.
maz honey, please go the dr, somethings not quite right there. Keep us updated.
shell - smacks for Ash for being clingy today. Hopefully she starts behaving herself soon and you get a break.

Shell.. oh i feel like im forever repeating myself lol.. Jesse is doing the exact same thing today.. very clingy.. only had about a 45 min max sleep this morning which has made him worse. Put him down about an hour ago now so i hope hes making up for it now.. and i hope Ash is too!
Jodi for gods sake will you just test!!? Whats the worst that can happen, you get a BFN and then AF goes MIA and you end up with a BFP anyway. Its driving me insane not knowing if we'll be DD buddies or not again
For fricks sake, I rang for my CD21 b/t results out of curiousity and they STILL ARENT IN. Thats almost a fricken week gone by. The recept said "Call this time tomorrow and if they arent here we can ring them and see why not". I was going to book in for my 6wk appointment but thought it would seem odd seeing as Im so gung ho about getting my b/t results back so I'll leave it til AF is officially late.
WOOOOHOOOO, My Baby boy sat up all by himself. He got up on all fours, bought his hands back towards him and then moved his legs back a little. I thought, oh great, he is gonna crawl backwards like the way he started commando crawling but then he pushed himself up on to his bottom. Must have been the fish, potato and yoghurt mix he had at lunch......no I don't normally feed him that sort of thing but he would not eat his lunch and I know how much he loves yoghurt...it all winds up in the same place! GROSS THOUGH!!!! LOL
Rikki, got the tshirt and it is adorable. He is sleeping now (hard work sitting up just the once) and I have to get my hair done this arvo so he can wear it into town.
Kell, Bails did not do any poos yesterday and we have had 3 today. Yucky. I think Bails might have a little cold atm so i will wait a few days and then we can arrange a time. Very excited!!!! Hope ya not a clean freak Thanks for the +boost about MIL and tvs. I feel better now.... We have something like Grandpa's stew from time to time....nothing that has been kept in the family, just me throwing everyhting into my slow cooker and then calling it Dinner later on.
Shell and Kell, Bails wears his grobag at night with a bonds suit on and Rick sometimes puts a woollen blanket on him when his room is about 18 - 19 degrees and he sleeps 'like a baby'. You would think after a million years, babies would learn not to move around at night hey?
Nessa, thanks for that. Yep, Rick is a massive support although i think he was getting a bit stressed looking at the grey hairs that have appeared recently. I have been seeing a counsellor here at home and started taking In-Liven which has helped heaps. I am trying to be really open about it as I am very private normally. BB has been a massive help and just chatting with you girls helps too. I don't ask for sympathy, just friendship and a helping hand from time to time.....to help me up off the floor, you people are so funny.

OMG...damn council. We want to put up a wooden picket fence out the front and the crap we have to do just to make sure it is okay is bloody unreal. Like everything to do with the Govt, it costs money to find out if you can put up a fence. $40.00 for a question, unreal i tells ya.

annat - that's pretty slack of them not chasing up your results. I hope you get them soon.
shell - if ash is waking the same time every night then it probably would be habit. Nina went through a stage of waking at 4'ish, but once I dressed her warmer one night she didn't wake. What do you normally do when she wakes, do you feed her back to sleep? I'm just thinking if maybe changing what you'd normally might work??
