Hey that's a good idea, I should start pointing out babies to River! I don't think he'd make the connection between big tummy and baby though! I hardly can! I think he just thinks his mumma is a bit of a chubba. He keeps poking my tummy and boobs.

Having banana smoothie that Rans made - yum!

That's great that you girls are starting to feel better. Ness, hope you don't have a bug!

Kell, I remember River's scan, I was so terrified they'd say, silly girl, it's all in your head, all those hpt's you did were WRONG! This time around, I was a bit more sure, cos I remember the 'feeling'.
Something I found helpful when I didn't feel pregnant was to go to the BellyBelly early symptoms list, and suddenly I'd be like 'oh yeah, I have these symptoms!' Things you might not originally think of like bigger boobs, increased CM, weeing more, backache...go check out the list.

What type of bra did you get Ness? I need a couple of newies for sure! I want to get some more bonds ones, the one I have is super comfy (and cool, cos I dyed it green!).

    Yay on the win Caddie!

Meg the sandpit sounds like a great idea. I *think* we're getting Riv a flip out couch, Rans is out with my mum shopping for me and Riv - I did everyone else's shopping so I said he could shop for the kiddo. And he's bringing me home dinner too, which will be nice!

Speaking of dinner, Riv commandeered the spoon and yoghurt container off me tonight and had a practice at eating - he's not too bad! Unfortuntately the yoghurt was pretty much finished and he was pretending to eat yoghurt while I was trying to give him his milk! In the end I pretended to drink his milk - I swear, that's never failed for me.

    I hate the hot.

Meg- we're planning at some stage to get one of those too, I think the IL's were gonna get it for Ash for xmas. I'm not a fan of sand myself but guess I'll have to get used to it!

Nelle- I usually let Ash have turn of the spoon towards the end, that way I know she's at least had a decent feed prior! She's not too bad needs to learn to scoop the spoon in not just dip.

Ness- hope all is ok with teleah's eyes, maybe needs glasses? Yay on bra fitting, I did my first fitting with my mat bra's and planning to go back for a new fitting cause I think I've been wearing wrong size.

Caddie- i will PM you and don't forget to let my know your bank details. Good luck at the casino tonight, I love the casino, haven't been for ages. Play roulette for me, number 26!

We did have busy day, set up MIL with e-bay and paypal and looked at photos of Df when he was younger, then we went off to gymbaroo in the arvo and cheeky Ash is still awake, cause its light outside she takes ages to get to sleep. At least she just plays in bed til she does and not cry.

Mmm my little man is still awake too. I just took him in his water bottle before for a sip, and laid him back down, he giggled and scrambled back up. Ah well. Said my mumma loves you and nigh nighs and was gone. It's slowly getting quieter in there though - I KNOW he's tired so it's just a matter of time.

A spoon in each hand Meg! Bet he likes that! Shell, I think Riv will take awhile to get the concept of scooping too, but hey, gotta start somewhere...ideally he'll have the hang of it by the time bub is here!

Mmm bored here too, Rans is STILL not home from shopping with mum (hopefully that means he got me HEAPS hehe, I'm such an optimist) and they're bringing me dinner and I'm STARVING!!

He was getting a few groceries too though, bless them both.

Well, they can't be too much longer, the shops closed 20 mins ago!

Oh, and my ribs are getting the holy goodness kicked out of them, the midwife said something along the lines of 'ohh wow your uterus is high, no wonder you're getting booted, well it'll only get worse.' I was very proud of myself for not crying. 16 more weeks of getting kicked the moment I slouch!
On the bright side, I guess it'll help me look forward to labour?

Meg.. good to hear things are picking up. I didnt go to mums group either.. couldnt be stuffed hehe. Oh how cute. Jesse got one of those clam shells for his birthday.. theyre great! Still yet to use it hehe but i think will get it out the next hot day, being the past 2 weeks have been freezing here.

Shell.. yeh i was the same too with Jesse until the 18 week scan, as i didnt have one earlier. Once i saw this full on person on the screen wow was it a good shock into it all! Still seems weird now looking in the mirror and knowing theres something in there (but is there really?? hehe). Yeh i hope he will be ok. Ill just shower him with as much attention as i can.. hes gonna be pushing me away he's gonna get so much! Dh will take a few weeks off work and then ill get mum to come stay for a few weeks too.

Nelle.. hehe its funny though.. i dont have any of those symptoms. Maybe a little more cm but not much. No big boobs yet, they are a tiny bit sensitive but not much.. and yeh nothing. Apart from BFP tests and blood tests saying im pregnant.. and of course no AF for 2 months now. Yum banana smoothy.

Caddie.. oh woohooo on winning the raffle!!!

Jesse's starting to use his spoon too. When we get to the end of his weatbix or yogurt he grabs the spoon and i hold his hand and guide it to the yogurt or weatbix then he puts it in his mouth. Starting to get good at it.

Ness.. hope thats all it is poor chicken.

Well had my first baby dream last night.. and it was a boy!! Wont tell you what we called him but i love the name now! Am going to try it out with DH and see what he thinks

Maz- Ash didn't have a very good night either, I had to get up twice so I shouldn't complain seeing as you were up 4 times. I have no idea what prob was cause this morn she was fine.

Kell- ooh you'll have to let us in on the name after you try it on Dh. Hopefully at the scan they can give you if its a he/ she. I found out at my 12 week scan altho he said it was 90% accurate at that stage.

Nelle- I hope you got your dinner! How dare they leave a preg woman starving that long. Lol.

Ness- Ah sinus probs can be quite painful sometimes, hopefully the AB's help her and relieve the pain and tension in her eyes. poor girl.

Crappy weather today so i don't mind I'll be at work all day, then tomor it better clear up cause my nephew is having his birthday party at a park. Every year he has it at a park and its funny cause every single time its been about 28 degrees, so lets see if 6th one tomor will follow tradition.

Shell - my little so and so wont go for a sleep now and she's as grumpy as. IM pi$$ed to cause jed is as work (5th weekend in a row!!!) and I so need just a little me time. Im sure it wasnt a full moon last night....but by the way my kids are behaving anyone would think it was.

I have just spent 2 hours making christmas angles with the boys and Vy - ok Vy thought that her little bit of scribble on the paper was enough and then procedded to try and eat the pencils. The boys had so much fun. I just let them trace out their hands and draw pictures of things they thought were important through the year to them. Nikolaus drew Vyolett twice and the 'new' baby and Wilhelm is going through this face expression drawing stage...bit picasoish but hey they were happy.

Of to make a cuppa..got my dame washing in the dryer cause its raining and i left the clothes horse outside!!! grr at myself.

Is anyone on the Marvelon pill in here?????? Caddie????? Ive got 2 months worth (2 packets) sitting here and im not going to use them as im getting my tubes taken out when I have sunshine (yep no more babies for me). Let me know if you want them and I'll send them to you. the expirery date is the 06-2009 so heaps of time and honestly, I dont want them going to waste, Id rather one of you girls have them. God it looks funny looking a the packet. I got the perscription on the 18th of December...LAST YEAR!!!!

Shell.. oh really? they could tell Ash was a girl at 12 weeks? Wow.. i just thought they could tell if it was a boy and just said they cant tell otherwise. Ill definately have my eyes pinned on that screen. I think this place does dvds of it so i might even ask if i can get one this time around so i can bring it home and study it hehe.

Well have cleaned/tidyed the lounge room, swept outside, Jess had fun playing outside and is just standing by the door wanting to go back out.. but its getting too warm now i think. Will have to wait until this arvo.

Ohhh yeah bad night here too - Riv wouldn't settle - and NOW I feel really bad because there's huge blister on his butt (looks more like where a nappy might have rubbed) BUT I'm worried about the tip of his penis, cos it's red and maybe swollen... Dunno what to do...he's having a bath right now...guess I'll tell Rans to give it a good gentle clean in case it's infected...what else can I do about it? I'll take him to a doctor if it gets worse...

Anyway, got a busy one today, off to call mum about babysitting tonight, and baby penis advice.

Sounds like an infection nelle. Does he still have a foreskin? Dont pull it back because you may not get it back and it will stop blood supply to his penis. Best bet if it gets worse is dr.
I am organising christmas drinks here. So much to do,had a few cancellations.Hubby peeing me off as i do everything as per usual.
Maz im on the pill yasmin so no good to me hun. Thanks anyway.

Ha ha Maz - do you think that he is not busy enough with 3 kids and one on the way that he can fit a girlfriend in?? :P

Nelle - James had the same thing this week, and lo a behold a tooth came out. his poor little doodle was so red as well as all the way round to his bum. Sems to have cleared now. Just give heaps of nappy off time and like Maz said maybe add some salt to the bath. i was hosing James down under the shower rather than wiping with nappy changes and that seemed to help. Otherwise he would cry.

Caddie -bad luck at the casino.

Oh some news - James took his first steps today. Very wobbly, and he still prefers to hold on, but it's a start. Now maybe I can shut my MIL up!
