hi sherie - you know it wasn't too bad. I've made 2 new close friends since Jess started at Prep last year, and they were such fantastic helpers. I didn't have to do anything in the kitchen!! I still didn't seem to find time to talk to anyone though

Its always the way when you have a self-catered do. You're lucky to have good friends to help out too.

    hi lovely ladies!!

well i have had quite the exhausting day...left the house at 10am and got home at 5pm...so yeah Hayley, i guess i could say that mother's group went really really well!! LOL. we started off with coffee and cake and then all decided that going home boring so stayed for lunch AND afternoon coffee!

pregan: yeah, they are ones! the little stars look cool as well i reckon! and yeah the risoni might be a good idea, i'll check it out next shop - thanx for the tip!

Gracie: i live on the northside in brunswick. we love it, had no idea where we were when we moved in but, it is walking distance to uni and lorenzo is loving all the italian shops and good coffee (always hard to find in canberra! - at least at a decent price!! lol).
good luck with the vaccination! we are (finally) off tomorrow night at the town hall - no doubt it will be mayhem, but am going with someone from mums group to help the time (and anxiousness) pass.

noni: we too have the rubber alphabet mat. you can get them from baby stores but they cost a bit ($60ish). i found the exact same brand from a cheapy $2.00 store and bought it for $8.95. it's great for hard surfaces and leila loves to look at all the colours.
the star pasta are in packets-rather than boxes (usually on the bottom shelf). otherwise if you are in coles bellamys do the organic baby pasta (in the baby food aisle). same thing really.

MD: great idea on the FDC! we all need us time (even when it is doing something as boring as shopping!

thanks for the tip Sherie! where do i buy those vitamins? as i dont remember seeing that brand at the pharmacy yesterday but i have a feeling that the pharmacy was pretty crap!

anyway lovelies, leila is desperate for a shower (an incident with a full bowl of spinach), so had best go...

Clare, you can only get it online. BellyBelly is an affiliate of the company that produces it, so there is a link to it on the bellybelly main site. It is amazing stuff. You did have a great day out then LOL.

    Morning Girls,

Well OMG I have been up now for 2 nights running I had 2 hrs sleep last night and I am so tired. Xavier has temps and last night I could not get it down till about 2.30 this morning. Jordy was up too cause he had a pain in the belly. The only one that seemed to have slept in our house was Olivia. Thank God. X is fine during the day but is getting temps at night. WTF. Now I am waiting for the paediatrician to call me back about Jordys Poo Problem.

Jazmum- I love the photo of Hannah she is so cute.

Hello to all and have a great day

ohh Leanne- sounds like you're having a hell of a time atm, you poor thing!

noni- hope you make it to ww. you have done so well with your weight loss!

jaz- glad the christening went well, hannah looks so pretty!

clare- well done on your huge day out!

well, lewis doesn't seem too bad after injections. had a bit of a whinge in the middle of the night and woke us all up, but othr than that not too bad.

poor dp is doing long hours atm, early mornings..so i think he might sleep in the spare room the next couple of nights just so he can get a really good sleep, he's sooo tired, poor thing. i feel so bad he has to work and i don't!

i'm off to a friend's house today (she has a dd one week older than lewis) to have an 'underbelly' marathon. we've watched episodes 1-4 already and plan to watch the rest today (it's been banned in Vic so we have to watch dodgy ones).

LMAO Gracie at your dodgy underbelly - fingers crossed you don't get raided (you and half of Victoria I imagine) My sister is coming up from Melb next week and she plans on spending most of her visit watching it - Mum has been taping it for her.

Wow Noni, it really is a small world.

Leanne you poor love. I hope the boy's paed can figure out what is wrong. Hopefully you will have a better night tonight with them.

Off to get Alisters vacc's tomorrow. I had to delay them a bit as his 4mth ones were about 3wks late. I think we are close to ditching the purees too - as much as he enjoys them now, he is getting increasingly frustrated at not being able to hve the spoon and do it himself. This morning I gave him a spoon to hold while I fed him and he kept trying to put in in the bowl and feed himself.

    Just lost my prev post

Jazmum, glad to hear the christening went well. Hannah is such a cutie suits her nickname cutiepattootie

Clare, sounds like a terrific day. Are you studying at Melb Uni? My DH has just finished his master there. What's your research about? Aaww I miss my coffee. I always had a good cup of coffee everyday at work even when I was pregnant. Too bad BF and coffee dont match

Leanne, hugs to you. Hope you can get some rest today and the boys are better

Gracie, enjoy your movie marathon LOL How is underbelly, is it any good?

Sherie, I just saw your pic of the girls in their easter bonnet. They're gorgeous girls, i think they look like you

W is a bit better now, fever's gone but still has some runny nose. He's teething again. Gee, I read somewhere that BF babies are supposed to have teeth a bit later than FF babies. But he is onto his 5th now. Lucky me nipples LOL

    Hi to everyone else

W is the same with spoon and wants to feed himself. He didnt eat lots of solid and even worse at the moment. I wonder whether the cold affects his appetite

hi agnes, i can't believe that W already has 5 teeth, that's amazing! lewis has 2 down the bottom. underbelly is fantastic, i'm addicted! it's actually quite good watching them all in one go with no ad breaks.

sherie- for a while there i felt like i was the only person in melb who hadn't seen underbelly. everyone was talking about it- at the gym, the bakery! my friends had mostly all seen it so i had to get onto it!
