Noni, that is really scary, hope the bub is alright. I am scared of something like that happening here when we are 2 hours away from a decent hospital.

Clare, that must have been terrifying, how did you ever sleep again?

Haley, my DH has only changed a couple of dirty nappies but I prefer to do them because DH takes too long and doesn't know the tricks and is likely to end up with W's foot in it or get it wiped all over everything. I have it down to a fine (and clean) art. He does change wee nappies though. W goes to bed at 8-8.30pm so DH gets to spend a fair bit of the evening with him which is good.

Renee, I have given W those shapes lol, he likes curry and spicyish things. I would never give it to someone elses baby though, that is rude.

Pregpan, I wish we could go somewhere cool for christmas but we will probably leave it too late to make any plans and end up doing nothing

Looks like I spoke too soon about W's sleeping getting better. He was up a million times last night grizzling, wouldn't even feed back to sleep properly. I tried giving him panadol but that didn't even do anything. I think it is his teeth, but they still don't seem any closer to coming through. Sucks because the IL's are here and I have to maintain a pleasant exterior while every little thing is p!ssing me off and I would kill for a cigarette.

And just to vent before I start to digest my own stomach lining - MIL pronounces Will as Wiwl. It drives me mental. Arrgghhhhhh.

LOL Speaking of DH/DP's changing dirty nappies! Dwayne and I had a bit of a hang over from his work do at the casino. This morning DH begged me to change Rory's nappy as his tummy was upset but I wouldnt let him get out of it LOL! I walked into Rorys room as Dwayne was changing him and he had poo on his hands, gagging and saying 'ohh my god oh my god' HAHA!

LOL @ your IL's Art, thats a classic! My nan & pop calls Rory, Wory!!!!!! I hope you have a better night tonight hon. Maybe try some of that natural teething relief im using on Rory, I LOVE IT! Its called Hylands. You can use it with panadole too. I think my mums reiki has been helping too.

Noni - Jesus, thats every parents worst nightmare. I hope their bubs is doing okay...and I hope you are, that would of been a real scare for you too.

Pregpan - Oooo how exciting! Thats it, I need to organise something now.

Mum got into my cheese cake last night and my wine while she was sitting Rory here LOL! haha all well its the least I can do for her, she is amazing!!

Gosh, so much going on in here I can't keep up LOL.

Had the same-old-same-old on Friday, which kept me out of the house all day and then yesterday we had our friends' baby's baptism, so we were out all day for that. Perfect day for it too - I even got a bit sunburnt from sitting out in the sun.

The biggest news we have is that Alister can now say Dada - and says it often too ah well, I did get 1 out of 4 LOL. When I say to him "where's Dada?" he gets this big grin on his face and says Dada, but when I say "where's mum?" he just looks at me as if to say, well I'm looking at you silly. He is also getting more adept at walking while hanging onto my legs too - which is soooo frustrating. He thinks he is clever, but I wish he wouldn't do it.

Apart from that there isn't much happening at all. Alister is in bed sleeping ATM - missed his usual morning sleep so I gave him a bottle at his normal wakeup time and he fell asleep having that. He will hopefully sleep till at least 1.30-2pm now, but the trade off from that is he wont have another sleep now probably.

Noni -oooh your poor friend must be beside herself. Let us know how baby is getting on, when you can. If it turns out to be meningococcal you might need to go the dr yourself and get some antibiotics for yourself and Asha, as a precaution. Big big to you today.

And just to vent before I start to digest my own stomach lining - MIL pronounces Will as Wiwl. It drives me mental. Arrgghhhhhh.
Oh Arte - PMSL - you poor thing. Big and I hope you survive alright while they're there. If you had a dire medical emergency could you go to the army base medical centre?

Renee LOL at DH changing Rory's nappy hungover! Aaaah the joys...

Pregpan, wow Thailand for Christmas, that sounds exciting! After gastro, the important thing is to take it easy with the dairy for a bit...maybe leave it for a week then start him on a little tiny bit of yoghurt and take it from there?

Well I'm in the middle of the biggest clean out of DD1's room in the entire history of her life. We've told her we're doing a bedroom 'makeover' for her birthday (she's turning 10, time for something a bit cool and funky) but the deal is we can't make it over when it's stuffed full of cr@p! This rationale seems to working and she is happily discarding loads of stuff (woohoo!) I have also successfully managed to convince her that if she is going to 'collect' stuff (read: junk like lolly wrappers and beer bottle tops...! LMAO) that it has to be keep in one of three designated boxes and if I find any item outside of those boxes then they will go straight in the bin. Hopefully she will realise the effort of putting them in the box outweighs the joy of owning them, I predict the "collections" will fold in the next few months.

Better get back to it I suppose...I hope everyone is enjoying their weekends!
