Hi Girls!

Just got back from the clinic. Ryan is 12 1/2 weeks old now. In 21 days he's put on nearly a kilo! He's 7.28kg, 63.5cm long and 40cm HC. Craig never got this chubby so I'm really enjoying having a little budda baby While we were there, I got them to measure Craig too. I was worried that he was a bit skinny for his height. The nurse said he'd dropped off his curve a bit, but when I got home I realised she'd had a 'senior moment' (she had a couple during the visit) and put him on the graph 6 months older than he is. Turns out he's just fine, perfect weight and height, still 90th percentile like he always has been. Phew! The nurse encouraged me to go for it with toilet training and to keep trying to get Craig to have a day sleep. I didn't think I'd have the energy with Ryan as well, but I'll give it a go. Wish me luck!

Hannah - I don't know how you would survive in Adelaide without A/C in your bedroom. With the temps you guys have had this summer keeping Amelia in with you at least until the weather cools down is a good idea. I know what you mean about your angel baby, that would have been a tough day for you. Don't feel guilty for not being as sad as last year. It was much more painful for me when I thought I couldn't take a pregnancy to full term, but I'm not as sad now that I know I can. I'm so glad things are getting better for you

What brand reusable breast pads are you girls using? I leaked right through on to the sheets last night, because Ryan slept 10 hours again.
