Hey everyone!

What a night! Eva has had gas for 5 hours so has been crying, getting carried, swing, on my knees, crying, getting carried etc...you get the picture! And of course it is a night when DH had to work so I am alone with a sore back! She is finally down for sleep at 1030pm!

Rose, I really hope Eva gets to the point that she chugs that stuff...It tortures me to give it to her every morning...she gets up all ready for food and I give her this nasty stuff...I got my wonder weeks book! Thanks so much for recommending it - I got through the first three chapters and it is really interesting!

Suz, yay on the AC...it never gets that hot here, so I don't have any but in NY I could not live without it! And way to go on the boys doing so well...seems like everyone is getting into a rythm.

Tilda, the travel cots are so noisy...she used to sleep in one when she was sleeping in our room, which is one of the reasons I would always be getting up. It was like she was sleeping on a plastic bag!

Beany, yes that is the first time ever she slept like that...I had one similar evening but she slept from about 11 to 5 am...not exactly the 930-6 am she did the other night, but she did not repeat it yesterday...it will come - I am not like some of you with those lovely little babies that sleep through (or somewhat) - at over three months she still gets up for a feed around 2/3 and around 5/6 - I feel happy when she skips her midnight feed! But with this medicine, she has been eating bigger portions and I finally am starting to get 3-4 hours between feeds - I have spent three months with 2 hours between feeds! so I am hoping she will get to the point where she packs away enough to sleep through soon...

Hannah, glad to hear things are getting better - can't wait to hear more details...

AFM, everything is ok here - Eva is still way calmer in the days - every morning when I give her that stuff I keep saying that her days will be so much better for it...She had a really bad stint of gas tonight but so did DH and I...so I am wondering what we ate to do this...DH and I actually got sort of sick this afternoon so naturally Eva followed suite this evening...I can't figure out what we ate...

I have been getting otu for daily walks (even in the rain, i just go)...and have been on the eliptical ALMOST every day now. The weight is just not coming off but at least I feel better. I don't get it.

Anyway, I keep following everyone on FB and it is amazing how the bubs are all getting so big and looking like little people, niot just newborns! The smiles and physical movements and all that...just amazing. I sort of miss her little squirmy newborn phase, except that she was always in pain with her reflux so I would not go back just for that. Poor baby.

Also, it is so funny - Eva has this doll in her bed that I lay down for when I give her playtime in there...sometimes I watch her playing and she starts falling asleep and rubs the doll. It is so cute! Now I leave it in there since she holds the doll's hand while she sleeps...She also talks to it in the mornings...I could just melt when I see that

I went out and bought her a bunch of little toys that are good for her discovering her hands phase and putting everything in her mouth phase I got her a really funny little squeaky alien looking thing from the same company that makes sophie the giraffe, and she loves that thing - straight to the mouth!

I have also been having a sharp pain in my left breast...usually when I work out or if I press down on the nipple...anyone every have this?

Off to try to get some rest in case Eva makes it a tumultuous night!

Kisses to all the bubs!

xoxo
