Hello hello!! Gosh I just never get on here anymore these days, my time is spent gazing at our gorgeous little creation and getting out of the house alot!

Peanutter- I have just caught up on everything that has gone on for you with Joshuas arrival, you poor lovey I cant believe what you have been through! You definately seem to be coping with it amazingly and so positive about it all, I take my hat off to you as I doubt I would have coped as well in those circumstances! I hope little Josh is doing well & woohoo to DH doing night feeds during world cup! And Happy Birthday, the first of many where a little one takes the spotlight!

MT- Little Zarlen was very behaved at dinner, so much so that we even went out for lunch on Saturday too! Everyone goo'd and gaa'd over him while he slept happily. Sorry to hear you have mastitis, I hope the antibiotics are doing their job and you are on the mend! I cant imagine how painful it must be!

Sunshine- You sound like you are having a really rough time hun, hopefully when your mum gets there you will get some much needed rest! I know what you mean about not sleeping as well when bubs is curled up in your arms... we have one of those cot insert mattresses which has slightly raised sides (its one of those ones to put in a cot when they are too small still) but we use it for Zarlen to sleep in our bed, he is right next to me but on his own mattress with his own blankets and this way he is so close but I sleep better as he is not in my arms.

Sharon- Isn't it lovely to find those few moments of 'alone' time! Awesome to hear Logan is letting you get good sleep.. sounds like the chiro works well for him too Hope the birthday parties go well!

MM- Gee you sound like you need some rest too lovey! It's crusty as when you want to go to bed but bub has other ideas... especially when they spend that time just crying! Zarlen does the same thing sometimes where he souks if Im not feeding him, but then I put him on and he drinks for a few min then grizzles about being on there! Its only in the evenings and Im assuming it's that whole 'cluster feeding' thing cos he is always hungry at that time of day. Good to see Max finally came around to Darcie! Such a cute pic of the two of them on fb

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all going well with the new babies!

AFM- This is my first proper post since I had Zarlen, how slack am I... He has settled in really well. Nights are great he usually sleeps 5-6hrs when we first put him to bed then another 3-4hrs before we wake up so it's usually only 1 feed a night which I am loving. Days are different however he will usually only sleep for 2hrs at a time or less. Evenings are driving me nuts at the moment, from about 5pm he souks alot and feeds every 30mins or so for a few hrs. He looooves to have baths & showers with us so thats fun. We are keeping busy and going out visiting and shopping a fair bit so not many days just bumming around at home. I do like the odd day where we sit by the fire and watch dvds all day tho heheh.
Jeremy has taken to him amazingly and is so in love with him & loves to help with what he can.
Since we had Zarlen we have had huge issues with my mother... starting the night I gave birth. She was having a VERY hard time accepting that she was not allowed in the birthing room but had to wait outside with Jeremy. She further got her nose out of joint that we invited Tasmans mum to wait in the waiting room also as she was so over the moon and excited about his coming arrival. Well the week I was due our new car was in getting fixed (long story there) so our only car was the manual which Tas cant drive... Mum had said if I go into labour to call her and she will pick us up and take us to hosp.. So Tue 18th May, 11pm we call mum as hosp told me to come in as I was getting some pain 3-5min apart... Mum is completely DRUNK!! So, I drive us to hosp stopping for contractions 6 times along the way. Mum is crying on the phone all emotional as Im finally having this baby & claims she is catching a taxi to hosp. We ring Tasmans mum & dad who live 5min from our hosp to meet us there as we have Jeremy who needs supervising. I get examined, 4cm dialated woohoo so it's all on now. Tasmans mum is in with me got me a gym ball and matt for the floor and is rubbing my back while Tas massaged my hands and Jeremy is pottering around. Mum arrives an hour later walks in and completely cracks it to see Tasmans mum in the room, while Im in the middle of a contraction, and announces she is leaving. Tas, her mum & Jeremy all went out seperately and tried to talk her down and get her to come in but she was furious. I wasnt having Tasmans mum or anyone else there for the birth itself, but was happy for them to be in until I felt I wanted them to leave. Mum wouldnt have a bar of it and got in a taxi and went home. She then ignored the call 3hrs later from Jeremy to say that Zarlen had arrived. We didnt hear from her til we got a text 24hrs later, and then she didnt even come to meet Zarlen for 3 days!!!
Ever since then she had blamed me for all that happened and says she cant 'bond' with Zarlen cos she wasnt there at the birth, yeah whatever, like she needs to see him come out to bond with him, whatever! She now hates Tasmans mum for being at the hosp and for being apart of Zarlens life in those first few days... Tasmans mum is an angel and I dont know what we would have done without her, she had Jeremy for 2 days for us from when I went into labour til we got out of hosp as my mother bailed on him too. Now I just dont know what to do with her, it's all her own fault that she missed out on Zarlens first few days but she will never accept that.
Geeez what a rant Iv had hey, congrats if you got through it all heheh.

Iv been writing this post for about 2hrs but keep having to run off and feed or settle Bubba Z hahah... finally done, and whats the bet it takes me another 2weeks to post again!! Blah!

Take care ladies xoxo
