Hi girls Cally – ouch!!! Is she getting molars? I find N can get a little bitey when his teeth hurt… Lol at the associations MD… you crack me up! I’d also wolf down dinner if someone gave me hot chips… Re the eating – breakfast is the worst for us… he now has a yoghurt when he gets up (was squeezie yoghs but now tubs) – as soon as he wakes. I then make him bfast (cereal, muffins, crumpets toast) which he rarely eats. Occasionally he will have a piece of fruit too. I am trying not to worry about it, just make it, we all eat and he gets up from table and plays.. I guess eventually he will eat bfast (well I hope so). I find he eats less at ‘meals’ now as he wanst to run around… so I try to get healthy things into him on the go. I often make him a little bowl of salad to eat while I get dinenr ready (chopped up capsicum and cucumber and avo and some cheese) – at least he has then had a whole heap of veg before dinner ‘starts’. Some days he wolfs down a huge dinner and sometimes not (same with lunch). I also find if he helps me cook he is moreinto eating it. So sometimes we do pikelets, mini pizzas etc together and he eats loads of them. I also give him 2 options sometimes and he will eat more if he is choosing what he wants. When he doesn’t eat I don’t say much about it, don’t want it to be a battle… If I know he hasn’t eaten much I will plan something he will think is fun like sandwiches cut into shapes etc and I also do this if I know he is going somewhere where he may fill up on junk (so I do the veg etc beforehand). At the moment things on a stick work LOL – so fruit on a stick, kebabs with meat, veg etc… that’s this week!
