Antheia - she's tried to do it that way but has been told she needs her HSC to do the TAFE course?? I'm not sure if it's different in each state?
She has applied through the College of Nursing in SA and has sat the entry exam but she found out about the exam at the last minute and only had 3 days to study so she thinks she blew itIf she passes, she has an interview process to complete but even then they only accept 25 students per intake and there was at least double that at her exam alone. She'll find out on 12th April whether she's been accepted but has lost all confidence.
Kelly - thanks for the link, will check it out now.
**ETA: Kelly that article was great, thank you. But after reading it, maybe this isn't the way to go for her. She has 4 small children, her husband is in the defence force and she doesn't have a lot of family support so being on call probably wouldn't be ideal for herI will talk to her about it anyway, but that is an aspect I didn't consider. If she were doing nursing, at least it would be structured and she could work the family around her studies and work.
