at someone else's house??

My mum and dad are desperate to have Iz overnight and on Saturday night we have a friends gig to go to, and mum thinks its a great chance for us to have a night out, a decent sleep in for the first time in nealry 12 mths and then pick her up in the morning after we go out for brunch together...but DH and I aren't so sure!

DH is worse than me - Izzy goes to mum and dads while IM at work so is very familiar with her cot there etc..... she sleeps from 7-630 without stirring each night so Im not worried about that, its more that we won't cope!! Time to cut the apron strings?

DH is worried he will miss her too much but as I keep saying it really is only for a few hours on the Sunday morning before we pick her up... we will take her there and put her to bed ourselves that night!

So just wanted to know when you had your first bubby free night!!!??????
