He fell asleep (very, very briefly as I asked him what the **** he thought he was doing).

He gave me a full rundown on where he'd parked the car and how long he'd got before he'd have to move it. Apparently, my response was, "I don't want to know anything about the goddamn car for ****'s sake, I'm having a friggin baby.

He took photos of the trams from the labour room. He's a train nut but hey, any port in a storm.

And to top it all, when the guy came in to give me the epi, DP said "now you know this might not be pleasant. Sometimes it can take them a few goes to get it in right."

And THEN, he turned into Super Dad when DD arrived and for the next four days all the midwives thought he was God. Which was even more annoying than any of the above!
