My first labour was 6.5hrs and i was happy with that. THEN my second DD was in a hurry. My waters broke at 6am, almost 4 weeks ealy. I had to go to hospital at 8am for AB for GBS+. Had 1st contract at about 9am. Stayed flat on my back the hole time looking at the ceiling, not talking to anyone. I was in denial that my husband was inter state! at 11am talked to my husband and said "sorry your going to miss it" got out of bed walked to the toilet (I think that full bladder was what helped slow everything). I walked back to the bed and 2 pushes later she was here. My DH walked in not 10mins later! So all up i think that they said that the labour was 2hrs but felt only about 12mins. Doc said that i better plan a home birth next time whether i like the idea or not LOL
