kim i have bamboo breast pads and first off after birth i would go through about 8-10pairs a day (heavy leaker)

now i go through about 6 pairs a day - but need to wear 2 on each side overnight as not to leak on my top

    hth

i have almost 20 pairs and havent run out yet

i asked Maz direct Kim - she said if you wash frequently, you can get away with half dozen, but she herself had 10 sets - so that's what i grabbed

i have no idea how much i'm going to leak when milk comes in, but given i've been leaking since the 19 week mark a little bit, i dont want to take chances - i may still grab more - depends on how much i'm leaking once milk comes in - i figure i can wash and dry pretty damn quick if i need to if i'm leaking lots until i can stock up...

    Talking

    Kim,
I got 20 (10 pairs), I've not run out yet but I wash everyday! I was going through around 3 pairs a day on average to start with! Luckily for me I don't need to wear them anymore as I have very little leakage. I now only wear them if I go out, Hayden's 10 weeks on monday!
Like pink said you'll need a few to start off with! Better to be safe than sorry!
    Hope this helps!

    Cloth breast pads

I know these aren't nappies, but I didn't know where else to put it..

    How many would I need?

I am over buying the disposable ones that only get twisted and uncomfortable, and I am sick of wet patches on my tops

I've got 8 pairs of Maz's breastpads (and have just ordered another pair) that seems to be enough..although I have run out on one or two occasions when I've been behind with the washing.

And YES it's worth going cloth...I can't believe the money I've wasted in the past on disposables. And in my opinion they are much more absorbent than the disposable ones.

Maz's are fantastic! You never have too many

I can noramally get away with about 6 pairs but im not a huge leaker once milk has settled.
