reading this thread is making me itch...have an itch to go on a nappy-spree haha. im gonna hold myself together for abit longer then who knows?!

liners- the johnsons ones can go for 2-3washes if its only been peed on, then they thin out. they werent that good but i didnt know anything else back then. ive got the tot bots they r pretty soft. but honestly ive given up on using liners (flushable & fleece) as it isnt all that necessary esp since i rinse the soiled nappies anywyz!!

gigi- a lil short notice, but we're heading over to adel this weekend!! mebbe we can meet this time round?! still yet to reply u abt the trip, get ard to it tomoro (geez im lazy)

    monsta is awake, play-time

ETA- i love my GKs, but somehow the hour-glass inserts dont seem to last too long...ive found that his clothes get a lil damp in the morning...does that mean he's chub & that i should just change to trifolds instead? help plz

hi girls just a quick question
Lachlan has had a stint in hospital this week and now has a nasty red rash from the stick on wee bags used to collect urine..
Im sure i read somewhere not to use cloth nappies if i am going to use nappy rash cream is this right or can i use it as long as im usng a liner?

Tan - you can use the "normal" nappy rash creams, just use a huge liner or something to lessen the chance of it getting on the cloth. Either that or get some moogoo - thats all we use here. Great stuff.

Got Miss M in one of A's snoozywuns tonight.. bwhahaha. thought I had a medium around here and I did I did! So she's in that tonight, see how she goes in it.

WOAB: Red GK - boosted appropriately!
    WOMB: Cream snoozywun

thanks for the reply, where can i get some moogoo from??

seems we have found out that Lachlan has a reaction to any sticky plaster, medical tape etc, and explains the rashes from sposies.

Tan - When I googled it was hard to find. It is an aussie site and best to put MSM in the search too to get the right site.

Silly DH didnt give me nappies to fold. He will have to do them in the morning when he packs Em's bag or he might have a few left in the drawer.

RAY RAY and HEYGDLKG, Starbunz do make their own inserts, i would expect any website that sells the Starbunz, to also stock the pocket inserts also. i've seen that brand at DarlingsDownUnder, Ozbabytrends, so maybe try those?

Teru, GK is a PUL nappy, PUL is not the best for night nappies, i would just use it as a day nappy for dragon. Do you have dedicated night nappies for him? What kg is he up to?

Wow, this weekend is short notice, but i'd love to meet up with you and Dragon, LMK where you'll be. i could show you some night nappy brands if that would help you. and woollies too. So you know what they look like IRL.

i thought bum genius come in aio (sized) and pockets (osfa). or has it changed Limey?

When you hear stories about the elastic or velcro, ask the person, did you use a v2 or v3 BG? many of the probs of the v2 were rectified for the v3, plus the v3 has a 12 month warranty. i don't have any, i just remember reading about them.

whoever asked about NARROW CROTCH mcn, bilby suited that style, we found
    - dragonflymagik
    - beetlebums
    - swaddlebee sized (not the osfa)
    - very baby sized
    - whizz kidz osfm
    - mandy mac osfm
    - cute tooshie osfm
    - lotus nappies
    - daisy doodles
    worked well for us.
I will be sad to say goodbye to them, they are our "old faithfuls", didn't let us down, no leaks, can i have mcn withdrawals? where is my patch?
itti bitti is a narrow crotch too, but fuller in the bottom.

wotbb: blueberry trainer (her NIGHT trainers).

TAN32 - is Lachlan ok now?

Gigi - yeah the V2 are pockets, but the organic BumGs are snap ins like the pop-ins.
The normal OSFM v3 (ie non organic) is still a pocket. So BumG do both a pocket and a snap in one.

They are actually VERY similar cut and design...event the tabs on both are essentially the same shape lol The Pop In has organic bamboo snap ins, the BumG is organic cotton.

you should keep a secret stash Gigi so you can have your fix every now and then
The trainers are purdy though! How many do you have now?

WOHB: after doing the grossest most hugest poo that ever was pooed in the sandman ready for bed, is now in a bamboo boosted BumG cos that is all I have dry and red llamajams

Has anyone else noticed the llamajamas are flared? lol Charlotte looks hilarious toddling around the plae and dancing (she bops) in them cos she looks like a 1970s Miniature! classic.

    Morning all.

Not having a good one already *sigh*

Lea - email michelle and see if she can replace them. My inserts shredded as well (2 of them) so she replaced them. Not the same colours so they look a bit funny - but they work now.

    WOAB: BumG AIO
WOMB: Widdlewun (black with a pink skull - she's so cool)

    Morning Ladies

Gigi - thank-you so much for that list of narrow crotchers, my DS will thank you - my bank balance won't. I know of a lovely new home for your stash though When you're ready to let go of them that is.

Kat - what time did you pry your butt away from fb last night? I was up for ages reading your hilarious status changes.

Lea - I'm having WC problems as well. Went to put my bling on DS yesterday for the FIRST time and realised about 5 of the crystals have fallen off. It was fine after the pre-wash (on a gentle cycle in a wash bag) however whilst sitting in amongst all the other naps on the change table they've come unstuck? NOT happy.

Jess - let me know when those cheap ebay ones arrive, I was looking at them yesterday. Also, if you're looking for girly ones - try Big W. Especially for winter they have really soft ladies size leg warmers which you could convert to bubba ones.

Ali - hope you've finally got a basket of nappies to fold - keep yourself sane for a few minutes at least. What's cooking today?

Nappy News - umm... don't have any. I have to wash some, but what's unusual about that. My sister is arriving here from Brisbane tonight - we're going bridesmaid dress shopping! She's only here for the weekend and we forgot Saturday was anzac day so tomorrow is going to be one very busy day to make up for it. She's bringing my 1yr old niece but unfortunately leaving her big boys (3&6) at home with their dad.

Off to clean the house AGAIN
Someone send me fluff please? even if it's a 1cm x 1cm piece of minky
