I got an email last night saying my custom BOB will be posted this morning...I am sooooo excited...Jack's special birthday nappy....wooohoooooo!!

The two new NN's are currently on their last prewash, and its sunny outside so hopefully Jack will have his first night in cloth tonight. Now I just have to decide which one to try first, lol, the Sandman or the MandyMac?????
Will a Maz fleece or Minky cover be best over them for night? Or I have BBH PLU covers, but he will probably get too sweaty in them, huh?

WOJB...terry flat and yellow BBH cover.

Marlene, my trial itti bitti pack hasn't arrived yet either... I have checked with my local post office to see if it is there waiting as often the card gets taken out of my letter box by the local neighbourhood children... I am also wondering why oh why I didn't get them registered... Its a bit different for me though as I don't yet have a bub to put them into but lol I want my fluff fix he he he

either of Maz's cover work for us overnight....pot of gold and the 2up covers we have seem more thicker than the other minky covers...so they tend to be used at night more often.

    hello ladies!

jess I am so very sorry tohear about your friend, that is just so terribly sad. I will light a candle today for her

gigi - yay for bilbs - you have one very clever little girl there

kaz - get offline and jump on hubby!!!! woot woot, so happy for you

kat - gf's are fantastic arent they? I feel so bad that they werent all that best for ll80 I love them to bits..... fot a 6 pack (in large) on layby and she is doing velour inners for me woot woot!!

marlene - yes go for fleece hun, but for us wool is the best - we get damp patches from fleece or minkee overnight.............

i am sooooooooooooooo happy - i have the PERFECT babywearing nappy bag, and it isnt even a nappy bag!! Its a tote bage packpack, leather and taperstry with lots of pockets on the inside, magnetic pockets on the outside (magnet is hidden) but the best part is this awesome zipper at the back, which goes all the way down the bag.... so hard to describe but i am dancing with happiness!!

and to all those waiting for mail, AP seems to be really slow lately, its BS!!

woot. Stimulous payment came today so im paying off all my laybuys.

OK Vic girls in particular, the weather channel tells me there are maybe 4-5 days at most where its not going to rain between now and June. So how the heck do I get all of my nappies dry?
Are there some that cant go in the dryer? Am I better to have more, and use the flannel ones more so that I can air dry them under the heating ducts rather than the dryer?

ray i hang mine on clothes airer and pop them over the ducted vent in our second bathroom and close the door, they dry in around 24 hours during winter and the heater is on, otherwise pop them in the drier after around 24hrs on the airer but on low.

Kitt3n - please share, what is this magnificent bag you speak of?? I customised my ring slings with pockets so I don't need a bag for short trips, but today for example, I have to take DS to the other side of the city on the bus, then the train, then a tram and do it all over again on the way home. Impossible to take the pram, and we're going to be out for hours...

Rayray - my place is going to look like a Chinese laundry for the next month! I don't even have a dryer. um, hang as much as possible for as long as possible, then put in the dryer to finish, perhaps? Just to maintain the elastic, mainly.

Ray ray - ditto the hanging for 12-24hrs and then drying on low in the dryer. For my BBH though (new bubs so they get washed alot) I just put them in the drier on low after a wash.

I really need to get some more fitteds or AIOs for River, all this constant washing is killing me!

I put all my wet nappies on the clothes airer infront of the dryer, if the boosters are still wet after 1 day i pop them in the dryer for 30 minutes on warm.

Sorry to hear about your friend Jess

All those waiting on IB fluff, send them an email. I waited a month for my last lot, apparently it got misplaced. But they express posted it the day after I emailed them.

When its wet we hang our nappies on a clothes horse under the ducted heating vents, when we didnt have ducted at the old house I had them in front of the heater

Sam - can we organise a time I can come visit & look at some fluff? Dont know what to buy next

Immediately before bed last night, DH dumps a heap of nappies next to me and asks me to put them together ready for him to put in Em's bag for today If he had pulled them all off the airer yesterday morning and left them on the chair they would have been done before he got home Oh well. The next lot will be done like that, I have told him that it is not a good idea to put them there at the last minute. He has refused to use the fitteds and covers but that is fine, he is the one missing out on having an extra 3 nappies.

We have to have a very early night tonight, we have to be at unit HQ for dawn service in dressy clothes in the morning, and will be out alllllllllll day. DH will pack a chair for me JIC they dont have enough out. I hope he gets nice nappies out to go with nice clothes!! Might have to use HLs too if Em wears a dress.

5 days till we get dates. I am really looking forward to my Ob appointment!!

WOEB: I wish I knew, but I wouldnt mind betting that it is a CT of some sort!!
