FINALLY received my itti bitti trial pack...woooohooooo. Gorgeous stuff...sooo fluffy! They did forget my flushable liners in the parcel though Have emailed and asked them to send them, and I WON'T be paying postage!
Also got a CT (with animals on it) and a Haute Pocket from B4B today...so quite a fluffy day! YAYYYY!

Ooohhhhhh . . Baby Beehinds just rang me to say they'd just run out of their white covers and I'd ordered a small & a medium (and a pink & bamboo fold-ups) Now I am annoyed because if they had said they were out on their site I would have ordered some more MAZ covers because right now I have 1 cover only and I didn't want any other colour from Beehinds because I wanted something neutral for under pale outfits of her dresses. Now I'm going to probably order some more pretty maz ones (which look heaps nicer anyway) and have to pay 2 lots of freight because they'll have already sent my prev order. Damnit. Was soo peeved I cancelled my fold-ups too, am not paying freight for some fold-ups, will go through someone who actually has stock of what they sell before the end of May. Grrrrrr.
No fluff news here except I have to send my new high tea CT back cause one of the snaps broke as I went to wash it..bugger!
Ali- oh you are brave to get up and go to the dawn service. I have done that for many years but this year I decided not to. We aren't going into the city to watch DH march either. We will watch on TV, I'm tired enough as it is...how do you do it? You're amazing!

Eej - DH has no choice, and rather than uniform he has to wear a suit. Since it isnt a daycare day and he has to take the girls so he can look after them I have to go too, not that I can do much, but if either of them is sooky and just wants to cuddle I can do that. DH said he will only have a couple of drinks considering I cant drive, and he wont pass up a few freebies

Gigi – thanks for your response to my aware sensitive not dissolving question – I wash at 40 degrees usually – but I have now read the instructions to the washing machine (duhh – shoul dhave done it months ago!) and moved the flap thing up in the powder bit and now it’s all dissolved no lumps so yay! Might give the mama pads a try once my cycle returns as I’m trying to change everything in our house to re-usable (hence the change to mcn) – prob won’t happen for another 4 months or so as I’ll definitely feed isla until she’s a year (although she’s bitten me twice today – ouch so she’d better stop) and things don’t normally return until I sop bf.

Mel – scary when they fall asleep in the high chair – my ds#1 did that when he was around 14 months with a mouthful of vegemite sandwich – I tried to get it out but couldn’t so ended up spending half an hour sitting watching him until he woke up as I was so frightened he was going to choke – took a picture of it somewhere as he looked so daft – will have to post it.
Lea – grrr at your b4b seller – hope she replys and sorts out her stuff up. Poor Gabriella – but don’t feel guilty – we all do it – oscar’s had his forehead glued back together after I put him on our bed when he was 8 months old and he fell off it and landed on a pair of dh’s short and the metal button went straight in his head. I still feel guilty when I look at his little scar (he’s 4 ? now).

Fluffy news – well apart from my Tuesday delivery of Gks I ahven’t had any nappies this week – am so disappointed as I’m waiting to prewash the gks until I have more to put in with them – I’m waiting for 11 more nappies so far. I’ve had deliveries of wipes and wet bag (lovely leslie’s boutique one) but no nappies – waaah – I am so impatient! I ordered most of them on Sunday but a few more in the week so it’s understandable I haven’t had them. Getting on first name terms with the auspost courier lady – hahahah
My questions for today;
1 – is it ok to use the aromababy barrier balm with MCNs – it doesn’t have any zinc in it only natural stuff
2 – when I finally get my nappies can I wash them all togther to start with or will the colours run into each other?

Thanks for all your kind thoughts in regards to my back...its an old work place injury that hasnt played up in 10 years....to cut it short I was told never to have kids as i twisted my pelvis, pinched nerves and slipped 3 discs. Those slip disc's fussed together naturally very un straight and have started hurting again recently. But hey I will live...there are plenty of people worse of then me.
just a q - i got my cherubs kiss (gossamer dreams) dress today and am wondering if anyone knows if CK do custom nappies? i looked at her site but she seems to be on leave til end of april - but i'd love to get a nappy or cover to match... it is absolutely divine (and almost got stolen by my four year old niece today - thankfully she's a bit big for it...)
