I am really into a good rythmn now, I have gotten up every morning put on my joggers and gone out the door for a walk, even this morning after being up in the night for a couple of hours with DD- usually I would have said I was too tired, but this morning I figured I am going to be tired anyway, so I may as well be tired and Healthy.
We went to my parents for dinner as well, I realised that alot of my bad eating habits stem from when I lived at home, because the second I walked in the door I was back into bad habits- checking out the contents of the fridge/ pantry. Luckily I realised what I was doing, and only had a small amount of left over chrissy cake- not to bad, there is lots of yummy things to eat there, so it could have been so much worse.

I think the thing for everyone to remember is that 1 bad meal/ day is just a bump in the road, it is remembering not to let that derail the whole process. My dietician told me that learning to eat well is just like learning to ride a bike, it takes time to learn to do it properly, sometimes we fall off, but the trick is to hop back on and keep going- and most importantly not beat yourself up over it.
