Oops, did I hear sit ups? Nooooooo!! The best way to flatten your stomach (other than cardio & weight loss) is to do the 'plank'. Lay belly down, put your forearms on the ground and either use knees or toes (toes more advanced) squeeze your tummy muscles like there is no tomorrow
Appletree - aww, thanks hun, heaps of BB girls are there too. You can always join, then go to your profile and delete where it says 'XXXXX just joined Fat Chic Slim' (and you should still remain attached to us - I think?).
I'm in but I just can't bring myself to post my begining weight. Can I just say that my aim is to loose 10kgs by Christmas (then I'll work on the other 15 after that)
I go babk to work part-time in the new year and I refuse to buy bigger work clothes.
I'm going to try to get to a cardio-circut class 3 times a week plus do my kick boxing DVD at home. I've just finished a 12 week boot camp and although my fitness improved out of sight I just didn't loose weight.
I'm starting in shakes for two meals a day as of tomorrow. I'm still bf'ing but DS is 10 months now so I'm sure my supply will he fine. If only he would just suck 25kgs off my then I'd be stoked.
I've done this before, I know if I put my mind to it I can do it again.
I was naughty and jumped on the scaled before... 101.3
I can't have lost 2kg in a couple of days.... wont be adjusting my ticker... lol will wait til official weigh in MONDAY and see what happens...
DD1 thinks it's fun standing on the scales and she looks down and goes YAY ... pmsl.
Have sent some PM's re: goals etc.. please everyone check i have your details correct.
CharlieBrownGirl - i wasn't 100% on your starting weight.. can you please confirm if you want us to list it.
I too have had a sneaky peek on the scales, but will hold off for the official weigh in on Monday
I am going to a Halloween party on Saturday and am dressing as a fairy princess. I have the wings, the glitter and the wand. So I tried on the dress at the weekend and it fits well - my wedding dress! I am so pleased I can get back into it and breathe
Umm, I dont really know what to write .. lol .. But I was 52kg before i was pregnant with my son, Then after he was born i weighed, 82kg. Before I fell pregnant with my daughter, I had gone back to 64kg, but gained it all back up to 86kg, which is what I'm at today.
Thing is i loose weight really easily, I lost the weight with my son in about 2 months just by just eating the correct amount of calories. And i only excercised about 2 times a week. But I eat out of boredom, and well, just for the sake of it. If I'm busy I dont eat anywhere near as much and never get hungry. Anyone else like this?
Just last month i went from 86 to 81 in a little under 2 weeks, but i put it back on again. Sigh ..
Anyway, thats my post over lol .. I'm looking forwars to getting to know all the people doing this challenge too xxxxx
Welcome M2A - i have found i NEED to exercise BUT the thing for me is i actually NEED to eat a little more, i eat fairly wll but not enough calories to help my metabolism, last week i exercised (walks with the girls and kate) and i ate normally plus threw in a few well balanced snacks to bump up he calories and i lost 3.8kg
GL and i can't wait to see how you go
oooh, i think i often make the mistake of eating too few calories thinking i'll lose weight faster. Even though I read otherwise, i just cant seem to get it through my head. lol
I'm a single mum of a 2 year old and a 4 month old, so i dont really get time to do actual excercise, but i do things like if i hang the washing out i'll put the basket a few metres from the line, and then i have to walk to it each time to hang something it ..
I cant get anough of bread and pasta. I eat plain bread rolls and i can eat 5 in one night .. lo
I'm breastfeeding too, so I want to be careful of that..
Aw hun i am BFing too, i find that if i take the time to get DD1 a snack it's no extra effort to get myseld something aswell, start small, add in a snack once a day adn then go from there.. can you go for a walk, have found this to be a great way of getting exercise, keeping the kids entertaned and catching up with friends... i have been alking with Kate07 which has been GREAT.. oh and PRMG...
I would walk but Ayva screams in the pram .. Not straight away but any longer then say 10 mnutes and she cracks it .. Makes shopping very hard too .. anything really ..
I have gastro atm, so I dont even want to think about moving or eating .. lol .. my daughter just had the rotavirus vaccine and obviosly i didnt wash my hands well enough after a nappy change
Hehe. I checked the scales about four times, got on, got off, went to find my glasses, tried again. It's ranging around the 78 mark, a tad below, but they aren't digital, so I'll say 1kg.
M2A - Welcome to the thread and I hope you feel better soon. Gastro sucks.
