well done to those of you who lost this week!! Great work.

Leesa - whoohoo on the skinny clothes fitting!! That's quite inspiring - I can't wait until I am the same and not stressing over what to wear or recycling the same half dozen outfits all the time!
Nai - You look fantastic mate. Bet you feel awesome too!! That's great the Xmas weight came off quite quickly.
funkeefrog - I jump on every few days I know I shouldn't but I get curious about what's going on. I only count what the scale says on a Sunday though.
Zarava - Welcome!! You sound really motivated.
JBM - I have started keeping a diary through WW and it has had a big impact. Just writing it down makes me think about what I'm eating so much more and there's heaps I haven't eaten as a result that I would have otherwise. It's a great strategy.

AFM - lost 600g this week. I am pretty happy with that but think it could have been closer to the 1kg mark except I had a couple of blow-out days and I have hardly exercised at all this week. But still, a loss is a loss and I don't want to stuff up my supply.

Hi girls. Sorry I haven't been in here for a while. Have been a bit busy and not had too much time to post.

Kaz- 600g is a great loss. Well done

JBM - Good luck for your weigh in on Tuesday

Katones - Well done on the loss And yay for getting an appointment with a FS!

Zarava - Well done on losing so much already after DD2. You sound like you are really motivated

JBM - I think the food diary is a great idea. When I track what I eat I am always stricter with what I put in my mouth.

Funkeefrog - Great loss Keep up the great work!

Nai - Wow you look amazing!! Thanks for sharing your photos with us. It is a great motivation to see before and after shots!!

Tellytubby - Wow what a fantastic loss Well done and keep up the great work!!

    Hi to everyone else!!

AFM - I have put on a bit since going to Melbourne and have just been really slack the rest of the week I haven't done any exercise and eating crap food so have put on about 1.5kg. Will hopefully be able to lose that again this week Feeling a bit stupid for putting that back on again but will just get back on the wagon again this week.

Oh my, I did no exercise for the first time in I can't remember how long over the weekend (we went away on a fishing trip) and I'm down to 64.7kg - I'm under 65kg and my BMI is 24.7.

Kt - you know you can lose that 1.5kg again hun - hang in there and don't beat yourself up over it too much eh?

Kaz - awesome loss considering no exercise!! Well done to you .

JBM - how did you go with the weigh in?

Katones - well done on your weight loss hun - keep up your awesome effort!

Anyone else watch Biggest Loser last night? I find it sooo inspiring!

Katones - keep up the great work

JBM - i wonder if they realise sometimes those comments make us feel worse

~Kaz~ - thanks for the welcome, well done on your loss, every little bit counts right?

ktgirl - thanks so much, i am HOPING to stay motivated but not sure how long it will last, i go through these phases A LOT.
Hope you loose what you put on plus a little more, i'm sure you will, don't feel bad about it.. all part of the process i think.

leesa - well done keep up the great work.
I watched the biggest loser last night aswell and it shocks me every year that i am as big if not heavier than some or most of the female contestants.. i think this year it might just help me push that little bit more.

AFM - have to check what batteries the scales take , have put it off fo so so long but now i really need to be able to weigh myself on the SAME scales every time.
Am thinking might do weekly? how does everyone else do it?
Must admit was naughty yesterday, had pancakes with strawberries for breaky with DD1 and then ice-cream after tea last night will start my walking to the letterbox today i think... just so i don't feel guilty!

kaz: good job, yes the food diary does help, it makes us accountable and thats wheat i need. keep up the good work

ktgirl: it's hard to keep it off when you're away, a few years ago i went to melb for 3 days and gained 1 kg, i was so upset with myself, i had a perfect week after that and lost it again, i hope this happens for you. keep moving forward. good luck

leesa: woohoo, great job . yes i watched the biggest looser, oldest son too as he wants to keep fit . it motivated all of us and we made our own fitness club. we did some excercises yesterday. it was great. keep up the great work.

zavara: i don't think most people think before they open their mouths. i have been asked if i was preg before ( ouch that hurt) and even had one lady who i barely know rub my tummy. that was a very big OUCH !
weekly is good for weigh in because if you do it every day, you'll over analyse everything and sometimes us women gain fluid or something. weekly keeps you sane, well for me it does anyway.good luck and keep up the good work

afm: well i am so excited.i have lost some weight since 1 st jan
.5 kg . yes thats half of 1 kilo.
it was so small i could hardly see it on my scales .LOL
but the good news is that i have been doing my measurements and thats where i have lost some.
    lost 2 cm off bust
    lost 1 cm under bust
    lost 2 cm off waist
    3 cm off abs
    2 cm off hips
2 cm off thighs . thats each
1 cm off arms ( thats each)
so a total of 16 cm in one month. woo hoo

i have made a new start for this year but have lost a bit since july last year when i really started, just a slow start.

woohoo. now theres feb's goals to work towards

JBM - what a great job.. 16cm. congrats

AFM am still to get batteries for the scales BUT i planned a walk yesterday, only for mother nature to ruin it for me so a girl from MG & i took the kids to a play centre... BEST workout EVER... it's so damn hot in there and your running around after kids... awesome.

    Hey ladies!

    How's everyones week going?

Zarava - i try to only weigh myself once a week. sometimes i just get way to curious and NEED to know... But i find if i weigh myself once, i then weigh myself another 10 times, before my actual weigh in at WW on the wednesday. But this week i'm staying strong, going to wait until wednesday!

JBM - Thats great that about your loss. I always tell myself that i'm going to measure my waist etc, but i never get around to it. Must do it! Would be interesting to see. And even on those weeks where you haven't lost weight, to check your measurements, see that you're getting smaller - would defiantely be a boost in confidence.

leesa - great news on your loss!!! Youre where i hope to be by the end of the year, mid 60's sounds great!! If you don't mind me asking, what size are you now? I'd like to be a 12, and wondering if thats around how heavy i'll be when im finally there.

AFM i lost another 900 grams this week. Wasn't too big a loss, because i kinda went wild over the weekend, redrooster, surf and turf.. icecream. lol. But i'm still happy with that, its basically a kg! Now i've lost 5.3kg! And my pants are feeling comfortable - which i'm stoked about! Counting from when i was preg with theo, i've lost 14kg! (he was 4.5 born tho. lol) Definately heading the right way!
Tomorrow night is my sisters birthday, going to save a couple of points for today so i can enjoy a nice bbq dinner. Thinking about cake.. i'll try not to, but perhaps temptation will get the better of me .. hmm

hope you all have a great weekend
    xx

    hi girls.
    kaz, kt girl, leesa
zarava: good job with taking the kids out. where theres a will theres a way. woohoo for you. BTW you're doing a great job with the weight loss

tellytubby: measure is good because i really do not feel that much smaller and i have only lost 3 or 4 kg in the time i lost the 15cm off abs and if i just had the scales only i wouldn't realise the work i was doing was paying off and i would be depressed.
even if you only did waist and hips and abs. that would give you an indication and any good thing for us is great to keep our motivation up. keep up the good work.

    afm:
well i did some fitness with the kids during the week, a little walking and even bike ride too. that was good and they go back to school on thur and i am looking forward to that so i can have some time out. yeah back to work ( not really time out hey ? )
but at least i can have some time for some quick walks and stuff.
i am going to have an official weigh in and measure on thursday so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

i'm not worried as i have been good for once and we won't talk about the chocolate ok?! LOL

Hey tellytubby - I'm 162cms short and weighing 63.6 as of today . I find my size 12 pants are getting quite loose and need the assistance of a belt to stay up now, however my size 10 pants fit me nicely now too. Upstairs (i have small (.)(.) ) and I'm a size 10 in shirts - and they're now a bit loose fitting too.

JBM - Great work keeping active!! And no, I won't mention 'that' evil word - a bit of a temptation for you is it'?

GGrrrrrr - just wrote out a really long post with comments for you all and now I've lost it So frustrating.

Don't have heaps of time now cause we're going away tomorrow for a week and I still have to do all the packing! eeek! Lost another half kilo this week. Don't know how cause I hardly counted points, was comfort eating and did no exercise! (We had our dog put down yesterday so I've been feeling pretty blah all week cause we knew it was coming ) Feel like I've escaped a bullet though. Hope I don't now gain while we're away.

Everyone sounds really motivated! Well done to you all losing kilos and cm's!! And ktgirl - don't stress hun, you were losing at a fast rate before so I'm sure you'll be back on track in no time

argh, i just got home from my sisters bday party. and i went 11.5 points over for the day!! yikes! might have to do some exercise tomorrow i think! but the thing is.. it didn't even feel like i was that naughty... i thought i did so well with temptation. but nope, got home and added it together - apparently not! haha.

i guess i need to look on the positive, if i wasn't watching what i ate - it could have been A LOT worse!

Also for those WW ladies. I have charged 8 points for 2 small pieces of choc/vanilla sponge bday cake. iced. is this enough do you think? they were quite small. ?

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been around much. I have been pretty naughty lately. I am in deadline town at the moment. Have a paper due tomorrow and am also moving 8 hours away! So I shouldn't even be on here LOL. Haven't weighed in for a while but am getting pretty keen to move, settle in and get back into some kind of routine. Hopefully the scales will be kind when I eventually get a chance to jump on some reliable ones. Anyway take care and see you in a week or so. xo

Hi girls. Sorry I haven't been in much lately, been really busy. I lost 900g this week so I was happy with that. Kinda wished I had lost a bit more but was still happy with the 900g. It just shows how much harder it is to lose than to put on. What took me a week to put on will probably take me two weeks to loose again

We had a function last night through my husbands work, I had a few wines but ate pretty well. I can't wait until I can fit into a really sexy dress. The dress I wore last night was gorgeous and everything but I would love to wear something a bit more strappy and not so flowy IYKWIM? There is a couple of girs that my DH works with that I am really good friends with and they are both so gorgeous and skinny so did kinda feel like the big whale in the middle when we had our picture taken last night We have another big function later in the year (Oct) so my goal is to look really hot for that one lol and to be able to wear a gorgeous dress and not have to wear the big suck in your stomach undies (aka Bridget Jones style)

Tellytubby - Bugger about the amount of points you went over but just try and have a really light day today to compensate for it. Well done on last weeks weigh in too

Kaz - Hun I am so sorry to hear you had to put your dog down that must have been so hard I am thinking of you hun. On the weight side of things well done on losing another .5 considering the circumstances you have done really well.

Zarava - Wow look at your ticker moving down!! Well done hun

JBM - well done on the cm lost That is fantastic.

Leesa - Your an ispiration girl, it sounds like you have done so well for all of your clothes to be falling off you!! Well done!!

leesa: you're doing a good job, yeah choc only sometimes is no good for me, the thing is i have to finish it, so i try not to even buy it.

kaz: hate that when it happens and it's always on a really long post when you've put a lot of thought into it. LOL next time. keep up the good work.

tellytubby: yes do that excercise tomorrow. you're doing a good job.

krysalys: you'll be back on track soon, just so so busy. good luck with it all

ktgirl: good job and yes in october you'll be hot and sexy in that little strappy dress. can't wait to hear about it. keep focussing on that and you'll have a great goal to work towards. as for the fat one in the middle, thats me. LOL but the thing is you have your own goals and just keep moving forward. good luck

afm: well lets just say i think i dropped the bundle today . 2 x toast for breakky and then a toastie with ham, cheese and tomato for lunch. way too much bread for me in a week, let alone a day !
    back on track now.
    must be good
i will be fit, trim and feel fantastic, i too will be sexy.
maybe if i keep on saying this then it will happen.

Krys - you'll be back on track soon hun! I'm the same. I started back at work after 12months mat leave on Monday so it has been a huge shock to the system!

On the bright side I did a 40km bike ride today and rode up the Dandenongs from Croydon through SAssafras and Olinda so it was a LOT of going up hill! It's called the 1:20 and apparently it is a Melbourne cyling right of passage. I did it in the same time as DP's mate who has been doing it every weekend for the last 2 months so I was pretty chuffed seeing that I haven't ridden my roadbike for 2 years!

Nai - Wow well done on the ride. That is an amazing effort!!!!

JBM - I love your little mantra!! Yes you will be fit and sexy, just keep at it. Don't dwell on the bread thing too much, just try to stay away from it for a few days now if it doesn't agree with you.

AFM - Been really good so far today food wise, and got up early and had a session on the cross trainer this morning, so the week is off to a good start so far!!
