    Well done Shazz ...that's great!

I can't wait to get back into my size 12's. I will need to learn to be patient I think as I only lost a measly 200g this week I will just keep plodding along. I refuse to be discouraged or give up. I only had one day where I went way over 1200 calories this week and I went on 3 walks for at least 30mins each and will probably go on another this arv. (Not something I would have done a month ago!).

I'm off to mow 1,000m2 of lawn, about 1/3 of it over knee high (so will require a 2nd mow), our stupid-PITA-stay-longer-than-planned-i-know-everything-about-everything-and-am-always-right housemate was supposed to do it last weekend for a reduction in last week's rent, but he got a friend to do it instead and he only did about 2/3 of it (and badly) so I have to do it today - at least it will be exercise for about 1 hour, then I'm going to sweep/mop/dust the lounge/hallway (we have polished wood floors so I'm putting the rugs on the line to air after the mowing has been done), that should take another 30 mins.

Kaz I have to thank you hun. I started to read the Couch to 5km thread, and I just found you so inspiring. I started this morning without even thinking about it. Just threw Darcy in the pram and went. I'm on my own so I have no choice but to thake her and I threw in a couple of hills for fun - lol I bet i will laugh at this enthusiasm tomorrow.
I also dug out my pedometer.
    I could just kiss you

    Go Shazz!

Wow that's a bit of hard yakka Sharon. I have discovered since DH is away that I love mowing the lawn - don't know whether I'd love that much...though we're looking at 5acres and he got all excited about a rideon. I got cranky at him lol.

I ended up only doing the bits that hadn't been done last weekend (it was nearly waist high in places) and it took me just under an hour and I sweated the whole time! DH can re-mow the lot during the week when he gets home.

Now I'm off to the shops to buy a belt for all my work pants (they're starting to fall off and I'm not buying new ones yet!), I also might put a few dresses on layby.

WOOOHOOo punkin! (glad you kept the av hun)

Ummm my dress will fit fine - it's heavily boned and doesn't have zips, just laces up the back. So can be tight etc

Last night some girls took me out for a mini-hens' night (waaaay fun) and I ate too much, drank too much, but hey, I'm only getting married once! BUT after the pants incident, I tried on a party dress of mine that I haven't been able to zip up for about 18 months, and it fit! And that was without the "suck your guts in" undies! Those undies just made my torso a bit more sleek (IE no flab rolls )

This week mum's taking me to buy some "wedding underwear" - just briefs, cause I'm not needing a bra under the dress (unless there's minkee involved....) and I think I know exactly what I want, the boy-leg lace undies that will sit nicely and also keep the flabs in place

Kim - which Kaz, we're both doing it! (I'm getting so confused!!!!)

Should go for a run tonight, but I need to cook for mum & dad, plus Trev. And not until he gets back from picking up the trailer, so that won't be for about an hour .... and I've been drinking white wine too

    Have a good day all!

    Hey everyone!!

I've been a bit MIA these days and havent managed to read back on the posts. But I will soon!! I have skimmed over and seen that some people have lost some weight - woohoo to those people!!

I've hit a bit of a wall with my weight loss. I want to lose another 1.5kg by my birthday on Sunday but I dont think that is going to happen!! I feel like my body is holding on to some fat because I am still breastfeeding. And I am going to keep breastfeeding for a while or I am going to have no boobs! LOL I am going to be flat chested when I am done cause I have lost so much weight Why oh WHY do we need to lose it in the chest area??!!

I bought myself a DRESS today. I have not bought a dress in agggggggges!! My aim is to totally change my wardrobe and just buy stuff I never thought I would. I am quite liking my clothes these days! I still have heaps more to buy before I can throw out my old stuff and welcome the new, skinnier me in to the world!

Lucy, yes 1st Feb is the day.
well its happening again, really low weight on the scales today and after all the chocolate after mondays ikea trip, I dont get it! We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Ngala -- there are a couple of things (other than the b/f) that can slow or stall weight loss:

    - being close to your goal/ideal weight - you tend to lose weight slower the closer you get
    - your body gets used to the diet and the exercise levels, so sometimes you need to change it up a bit to fool your body!
    - not drinking enough water -this is a big one, but I expect if you ar b/f you're having 1.5-2 litres a day anyway.

Well I have only got 1 shake left and then I will try WW for a bit. I really cant justify the $ at the moment for TF shakes, especially as I've having 6 days off work next month so will be down 1/4 of my normal pay.

So WW as of tomorrow, I hope that things still head in the right direction!

I have a feeling that the scales arent going to be too friendly this week.... I havent done nearly enough exercise & have not been very good with my eating either...

Water consumption has dropped & coffee consumption upped again.... I hate cooler weather LOL... better go fill my water bottle now!!!

Will see what the scales & tape measure tell me tomorrow morning.....

Ummm well after today's effort (the Sofitel "Cafe La" is NOT good for dieting! - mmmm buffet .... ) I'm sure they won't be friendly to me either. Will be doing the measurements tonight though!

I am not expecting much of a loss either this week because AF has arrived today but I don't really care about my weight right now - just very happy that AF is back of it's own accord after many many years on BCP!

I have a confession to make girls.......I broke and had a cigarette the other night!! and double . DP had bought some and I was seeing them on the patio all day on Monday. I rationalised it that I wasn't breaking my rules (DP and I used to always share) so I wasn't bludging and wasn't buying. Regretted it almost immediately and then proceeded to feel amazingly awfully unwell. Very very ordinary and it was a whole body evil feeling that hung around for a while. I almost didn't eat dinner but in the end that is what helped me feel better I think. Feel very stupid but I also feel glad I had such a negative adverse reaction (which I've never had before btw) because I don't care what context smoking happens in now, I am not in a hurry to repeat that experience!

Kaz, as mad as it sounds, that is good that you had such a yuk reaction! Sometimes you have to test the water perhaps to realise that you a now a "non smoker"?

I only lost 1kg today at my weigt in today ....but I have AF, so I guess I am not surprised..........But I have lost a lot of cm's, so happy about that!

Hey Lucy I think you're right - I am now totally and completely comfortable to call myself a non-smoker and am proud of that (I thought I was before but never totally there). A kg lost is a kg lost, especially with AF around. Good one on the cms - they are the most important aren't they? in terms of clothes and stuff? You will probably have a much bigger loss next week.

I have lost 0.5 since Monday but am happy with that because I also have AF.

Good luck to everyone - I hope you are all happy with your results
