WOW!!! I take a break for a few days and all these exciting things happen!!!

Congratulations Blizz: a new baby boy to bless your home, and a little girl old enough to be in her own bed!

Congratulations Tarkine on the fantastic, wonderful BFP!!

As for me, feel like I can breath again. I haven't finished everything, but organised enough to complete the next number of tasks: chasing students for work, finishing off the marking and writing reports.

Hi to everyone else out there!! Have a wonderful night!

thanks gargy.. DH and I are in a state of shock.

Went to see the MIL on sunday and FIL said "its about time you guys had something go your way".

I'm still on the crinone x2 a day and have been feeling the side effects (nausea and dizziness).. just keep thinking it must be a good sign. Today's BT results show that things are looking really good - another BT on friday (over feeling like a pin cushion).
MIL and FIL were both fishing on sunday for information. Only a few people know at this stage - my GF and my supervisor at work (don't know why I told her - I think she was there when I got the news and I tried to ring DH but couldn't get through).

Now all I need to do is sort out work - hopefully in 8mths time I'll be on maternity leave and not have to worry about the crazy place

glad to hear all is going well, things are great here too, have been a domestic godess over the weekend (had 4 days actually) got more done than I have in months and the house is looking slightly less feral now and I wouldn't be embarrassed about visitors now (i have been living in dread of somebody catching me in such a mucky mess)
Paige is so proud of her new big bed and so far her sleep patterns haven't changed much still a couple of wake ups but that goes hand in hand with her cough I think.
We are all good, Angus Ezra is behaving himself beautifully and I only have a few more days of the very early 6:30 starts that I love so much have been really tired hence the reason I haven't been around as much.
love to you all, glad you got caught up Gargy, hope that helps lift a little of the stress from you sweets,
take care all I will pop in again soon, Allie.B xxxxx

    Hi Blizz,

Glad you got to catch up on your housework - it's great to feel like things are in order again.

Angus - is that bubbas name? If so, it's a wonderful name!

As for me, had a great weekend! I've also posted a photo of our furbabies in the gallery, if you want to check them out.

    Have a great week!

yep Bubba is going to be Angus Ezra (Ezra is a family name) it was a compromise with DH on having Ezra as a first name, and also it needed a strong name to go with it so Angus it is I think haven't changed my mind from when Paige was born, we had one girls name and one boys name picked out.
Paige is proudly pointing at my boobs and telling anyone who will listen..."brother, brother!!!) doesn't matter how many times I redirect her pointing finger to my tummy it keeps returning to the top??????
love to all will be back in soon for a proper catch up, love your fur babies Gargy

Allie you are half way!!! Yay for you and little Angus. Love the name you have chos Uen. How cute of Paige.

Gargy, lovely to see you hun. Missed you. I would check out your fur babies but I don't know how to check other people's gallery since teh recent changes to the site. Any hints??

Tarkine, cheering you on hun. It is so lovely to have such positive news in here.

Lissie, Lulu sending you hugs too. I think we 3 are all cycling around the same time.

I had a great time up north with my family. We wrote our letter of understanding for the donation and faced a whole heap of the issues associated with donation. Drank lots of cups of tea (all tee totalers at the moment) and had lots of laughs. My niece and nephews had me mesmerized at how they are all growing up so quick and they are so much fun.

Em is on syneral and starts stims this Thursday her levels all being well. I start the Progynova on Thursday too. Only 9 sleeps until we leave for Melbourne. So exciting to think I get to spend almost 3 weeks hanging out with my sister doing whatever we want to do. Such a special opportunity.

    xx

    Hi to all,
excuse the lack of personals just flat out at the moment and sneaking rare opportunities to visit all of my BB lovelies.
Well Paige has taken to her bed so well, she has even discovered the joys of being able to get out of bed at will, I have heard the pitter patter of feet across the bedroom and the leap back in to bed when I have gone to check on her (it doesn't take them long LOL!!)
DH goes back to work tomorrow for five days so I will try to pop in, I have done something to my shoulder I think it is because I have a bad habbit of using it for a pillow at night and my shoulder has finally said enough is enough, nothing serious me thinks just muscle strain but I will get it checked out if it isn't getting better by the weekend other wise Gargy and Tarkine will be after my hide!!!!

Not much else to report apart from that the news that we have sold my MIL's house finally (such a relief) and it is going to a family we know locally and we are assurred that the tradition of music and literature will live on in the house like it always has before, in fact they are putting a piano nearly identical to my MIL's in the exact same spot that hers is (heaven knows where I am going to put her piano at my place????)

How are you feeling Tarkine delightfully sick I hope it's the only time in life that you can feel happy about feeling queasy

what stage are we all at?

Dusty- enjoy your special time with your very special sister and good luck with your journey.

and Love and luck to you too Lissie

love to you all and take care Allie. B xxxx

    *knock knock, anyone in here??*

    very quiet here lately.
Blizz, glad your princess is taking to her big girl bed. hope you shoulder is feeling better hun.

count down is on here until we head to melbourne for the EPU etc. Em is stimming each night and seems to be coping ok. she didn't like the syneral much but doesn't mind the Puregon. meanwhile I feel like i am getting it so easy. i have never had anything but a full stim cycle so i am getting to see what it feels like for a FET type cycle. its bliss!

    hugs to you all.

dusty girl... I can empathise wit em and the syneral - its disgusting stuff! I was very happy once I had triggered... and I'm sure that Em will be equally happy once she's triggered... .Just takes one

I am finding I'm having to change my eating, where in the morning I could get away with toast, I know find I have to have something a bit more substantial and then have midmorning snacks..

I have been having all the 'wonderful'side effects of crinone (which I'm still on ,nausea, not interested in food, breathlessness, bloating, bad sleep. BT on Friday showed that the HCG was 5000 and the progesterone was 150. Was hoping to get off them this week - the dr said another BT next friday and they will eventually wean me off the crinone - just hoping that I don't have to keep taking them til I'm 12 weeks - 27 days down .. I think my MIL has already figured out that I'm g: she rings and makes sure I'm ok every now and then, but without asking me straight up... ahh we have such a good relationship.

Have been avoiding the forums, not feeling very chatty - am actually really quite short tempered at the moment and wonder if it is the hormones coming back...

Dh has been cute.. he gets me a drink and says "its not for you its for bubs" - buga makes me feel guilty so I drink it!... ahh but I love him he bought a chainsaw today - I'm going to have to tie myself to any tree in the garden I want to keep - I think he'll be getting a bit too keen weilding it

    Hi my lovelies,
apart from being totally exhausted all the time I am holding together, the situation with my mum is a good thing and has been a long time coming,
to start at the beginning about 4years ago my uncle (mum's brother) died of Cancer at age 50, it really sent mum in to a spin both physically but more so we realise now...emotionally,
in fact we are more certain than ever that she suffered a breakdown and we all I am afraid to say missed the signs and she never got the treatment she needed at the time,

as the years went past we thought she had come through but little personality things kept popping out every now and then that weren't 'normal' mannerisms for my mum and she lost all confidence in her ability to cook and do simple things, she also started talking in a baby talk like manner to people around her and saying inappropriate things about herself and my father and telling complete strangers her (and our) close family issues.
this has been gradually getting worse and we approached my dad 2 years ago to tell him of our concerns and he walked away from us and would never let us talk about it with him again.

fast forward two more years and things are starting to get even worse and it has become at times embarrasing to go out in public with my mum for fear of what she will say and do and many family friends close and even not so close have started asking what is wrong with your mum? so after a fairly major incident where mum actually spoke in detail and very verbally graffically about her love life with my father,
we as a family finally managed to convince dad that she needed to see a specialist to be fair to mum!!! and now she has done that and has been admitted to hospital for some evaluations and testing to see what is going on so hopefully fingers crossed we will have some answers about where to from here and how best to help mum,
I haven't been able to talk about this before now and will only do so in this very trusted group of friends in the DCS thread, so this is where we are at, love to you all and I will check on you all again soon

    Oh Blizz honey :hugs:

I know what you are going through! that is pretty much the way things went with my Grandma (except she was an only child). Grandpa took a while to realise what was going on and was in denial for quite some time. Thankfully she wasn't explicit, but said some very inappropriate things and always told you the same thing 5 minutes later. It is so hard when the person you knew so well turns into a complete stranger. Please know we are all here for you honey :hugs:

Gargy: hope you feel better soon hun. would love to see an update soon havent even seen 1 in your blog!

Dusty: Enjoy Melbourne hun and come home with a

Tarkine: Hang in there hun, hope you are feeling a bit better now, and :stickyvibes:

So sorry to hear that Blizz - thank goodness you were all brave enough to say something to your Dad. I hope that they find out what is going on soon.

Ali - I saw in another thread that you may be moving??? How's that going?

Yeah, haven't felt like posting much - the twin story from Brisbane really threw me emotionally - plus the on again off again retrenchment with DH - some silly but annoying things at work - all just making me feel crapola.

Hopefully I should get my jive back soon.
