Hi sleebly - Just a few quick words in response to your questions.

I didn't have any excess facial hair or acne problems, however my weight has been up and down for years, and such a struggle, so I assume that plus the PCOS is why they initially recommended it.

I have been to 3 different gyno's over the last 5 years and they have all recommended this path to me, and told me that IVF is my last option.

I was due to start Clomid in July 2004 but I opted for some extra blood tests that my gyno said were not compulsory, and then discovered I had Diabetes type 2, and so now she doesn't want to start me on any other treatment until my Diabetes has been under control for 6-12months.
