chandra here and i also have pcos. i took clomid for it early this year and got pg for 2 months then miscarried.
i have regular cycles but the flow is irregular. don't have much facial hair or other physical symptoms but am a bit overweight.
i've been reading up on pcos through google search and found some very interesting articles. it says pcos isn't a sickness per se but a consequence of our body to be insulin resistant causing havoc to our hormones. this is very new for me eventhough i've been researching about pcos since i was diagnosed last year. so the various linked articles recommends to start first with a natural remedy of exercise and low-carb diet to lower the insulin resistance of the body. as long as one can keep this up, the body will consequently react by decreasing the male hormones and improving fertility.
i'm not sure but i'm willing to try this since it's quite safe and no side effects. clomid was horrendous to me on my last cycle. i was tired, moody, irritable, etc....! i had to take a break from it this last 2 months cuz i don't think my body can handle it anymore.
