I lived both with and away from my parents until the age of 24, we have been close, closer at times, then others not so, but I think we have a good relationship.
Sometimes we will speak every day or 2, then not for a few weeks...
Since I have moved about an hour away now, we try to do a "family" dinner thing on Friday nights, but we just cant afford the petrol to drive down there as often as would like...so we try for every fortnight.
I miss living close to her.
