Hoobley - DD1 10 hour labour, pushed for 2 hours, drug free, tore from anus to vagina DD2 3hour labour, had waters broken (very painful and lost "control" of my birthing experience) DD born 15mins after, drug free again, tore internally. I then had a retained placenta and had to get it removed.

DH was in the thick of it for both labours and he doesn't mind blood etc.

I think both of us are uneducated about homebirth and his main concern is me having another retained placenta and needing medical attention. I am curious about hb because I really got no rest at the hospital and not a lot of assistance during my birth, I was just told to get into this position and that position etc. DD2 came so fast that the middy yelled at me to get on the bed or she'd be dropped on the floor!!!
