LJ- hope your wrist gets better soon, good luck with your interview

Krissy - My doctor told me with the home tests there is no such thing as a false positive, you can only get a false negative.

Bianca - Hope your alright after your fall, good luck with your app today

Ok now i am *****ty myself..i took another test this morning & the line was darker but still faint (they are internet cheapies) but i have never had a positive with them before i really am confused but DF is getting excited.. i dont feel pregnant either!! the only symptoms i have had is strange AF for 2 months, few headaches & i always seem to have a snuffy nose! Oh & really sore boobs (thats why i took the test)

I know i will be able to finish this year of uni & hopefully do it part time next year to reduce the load for my final year but i dont think i am ready for any of it!! oh & having to tell me parents is the worst thing ever coz they are waiting for my older sister (whose been married for 3 years & is 26 to have a baby or get pregnant first) & i feel as though i am going to disappoint them!! oh & then there is my 21st which is coming in May this year (i was planning on a big one )

Are all these thought & emotions normal? there is sooo much running through my head atm

    Sorry about the long vent

Trini - firstly - *hugs* Secondly - yes, it's all normal - trust me if you are UTD you could have already gone into the full hormonal swing of things and you do have a lot to think about if you are. Thirdly - It's good that your DF is excited - at least if you are UTD (which sounds likely) and you have a 'meltdown' you'll have him there, and he'll be feeling strong to support you.

Oh crap i forgot what i was going to write next.

Try not to worry about your parents and your sister too much. The hardest part of Anthony and I finding out i was pregnant was telling our parents - but we had only been together three months and hadn't even met each others parents... Im sure you will find a way, just have your own arguments armed so when they try and shut you down you can argue back at them. And who knows, you might be lucky and your mum might just wet herself laughing and the squeal excitedly like mine did...

Have your 21st next year... it's no biggie these days really - a 21st doesn't mean anything here in AUS. We already drive, we already drink, smoke, have sex and all the rest of it, it's just an American thing we seemed to have carried on over the years.

All the uni stuff will sort of dissipate once you are actually into the pregnancy, but if it's really important to keep going and get it finished asap - you'll find a way to do so. My mum did her whole first year travelling three hours on p/t each way every day, pregnant and taking my 4yo brother with her. This year should be a breeze. Next year, look into correspondence and i couple of workshops for your pracs or stuff...

I know im not much use, but babble, rant, vent away.
And for the side of you that is secretly excited

Ash - thanks heaps for that it made me feel better...i just feel like i wanna cry & lock myself in my room!

I know my parents will be happy once they get over the initial shock but then we have hes parents, hes mum is italian & very traditional about the whole marriage before kiddies thing but we have our wedding planned for next year so that should be good enough im happy that hes excited coz it makes me feel better & i dont think about the negatives when im with him because he is sooo positive about the whole thing how did everyone tell their parents??

Yeah i will still make the most of my 21st, i just hope im not sick ( havent been sick at all so far so i hope it stays that way) but i think i will have to tell my parents before then or else they will wonder why im not drinking as they are hard ppl to fool when drinking coz they have seen my tipsy alot hehe

Oh uni will always be there i know that!

Skittle - oh so there is no chance that its a false positive?? we are going to get a different brand of test hopefully later today or 2moz
