Well said skybie, it is absolutely unacceptable to be so rude to a person 'behind their back' / 'in public'. If she said it to you, at least you would have had a right of reply. I think you have a perfectly justifiable right to feel offended. A new pregnancy is something to be congratulated, celebrated and enjoyed, not disapproved of by someone who has no responsibility in the situation or mocked so crassly.
That is so rude! i love the fact that she couldnt say it to your face but can let u know what she thinks publicly!
If people think that they're obviously not good enough to be your friend. So long as you and DP and all your littluns are happy thats all that matters.

I agree with the others who suggest to 'unfriend' her. I wouldn't bother posting back, her comment doesn't deserve a public response. I would avoid a public slinging match - it would just be more upsetting. I had a friend go through something like this on facebook, someone was really offensive and when she messaged them, the person sent her private message to everyone with a sarcastic response. It wasn't pretty. I think you should just move on as the bigger person and celebrate the new addition to your clan.
Congratulations Tanya, what a wonderful gift to have a big family. More joy for you and your partner and more siblings for your kids. Siblings can give kids support in this world like no-one else can.
