    Hi girls

BDT- I know what your saying about something having to give. It does seem that heparin/asprin/clexane is used to treat a variety of issues, and if it will help me get and keep a BFP I'm more than happy to use these treatments if deemed necessary. Is there a reason why they can't test you for NK cells or other immune issues?
I'm praying with you that your treatment brings you your very much deserved BFP. Best of luck for your scan tomorrow.

Smithy- Nice looking embies girl, rest up and enjoy your TWW and hats off to you for driving an amazing 20 hrs for your tf well done and have a much deserved rest. Wishing you the best for your BT on the 8th june.

Hello to CPie, Ms Pink, TL, JBM, WLAB and infinity, hope things are well

Smithy: what a trip and you're finally PUPO - well doen, everything crossed for you two little embies sending lots of sticky vibes.

Dutchie: Go girl, good on you getting everything checked, so hope this works for you.

BDT, WLAB, CPie : just posted for you in PGD thread

    Ms Pink: how are you.

JBM look after yourself, the waiting game is so hard.

    to everyone else.

AFM: I can start! FSH today came back as 10.3, it's probably not great in the greater scheme but was a huge relieve for me - already was preparing myself for bad news like FSH of 20 or higher. The main thing is I can start this cycle - will start jabbing tomorrow night, Puregon dosage of 350. This cycle I am doing the lot to prepare myself mentally, will go to a GP who does acupunture for anxiety, it's bulk billed so will try to do that weekly, also going to my specialist acupunturist in Rozelle at least once a week and more during EPU and the stressful days thereafter, will also talk to the counsellor weekly and going to meditation classes. While the big 4 Birthday is coming up I am taking it easy - tomorrow night it's a dinner with friends and on Sunday a lunch with another group of friends, then next week just a dinner with DP the night before my birthday and going to the theatre with a group of friends on the night.

Will just try to enjoy the celebrations and be as relaxed as possible during this cycle - who am I kidding?

    Have a great week,

    Sara

Hi Sara- Really great news! I replied to your post in the PGD thread, probably should've waited until you posted here
10.3 fsh is really very good, absolutely not to be sneezed at. It's really good to see you moving forward again and I really hope all the efforts you are putting into this cycle are rewarded. Wishing you the very best

    Hi everyone,
Just dropping in to wish CP GL for your EPU today, I think it is today, I haven't seen you post for a couple of days, I hope all is well, look forward to hearing your news.

Sara, woohoo, that is a great FSH level and so glad you are ready to start again, can't wait to see you get lots of lovely follies and hope the changes you are making will give you lots of eggs at EPU.

Smithy, hope you are going well being PUPO, fingers crossed.

Hi to Dutchie, TL, MsPink, Infinity, and everyone else, sorry if I miss you.

AFM, it seems that my upped dose has done the trick, for my scan on Wed I had around 8 follies on each side, all between 9 and 11mm, and a few littlies. I have another scan tomorrow to see how they are going, and another Monday morning and hopefully I will be ready for EPU Wed . Don't want to get too excited as don't want to jinx myself, but feeling relaxed and positive and not thinking about it too much.

NB: Also wanted to say thanks to Dusty for recommending the book Choosing Happiness, it was great, really helped me deal with and minimise that never ending internal dialogue I have with my self about TTC. I have managed to distract myself and my thinking to other great things in my life and feel much less stressed, I have cut back thinking about TTC by about 80%, it is doing wonders. Thanks again.

    Big hugs to everyone xx

Smithy: Hope the TXWW is not to hard, thinkign of you.

Dutchie: thansk for your support, hope the waiting for June goes over very quickly.

Lulu and everyone else out there.

AFM: will have my 1st BT tomorrow morning, Went to my GP for some Acupunture this morning and feeling okay.

to CPie, MsPink, Smithy, TL, JBM and infinity, sorry if I missed someone

Quick question- Just reading up about DHEA, trying to figure out if it could be right for me and wondering if anybody knows if you should not take it if you have an autoimmune disease ( I believe I read that somewhere though can't remember where) TIA
Otherwise, just plodding along, have an appt with FS on the 9th and waiting for AF due about the 18th june to commence another flare cycle oooh can't wait

BDT - you go girl... your cycle is sounding excellent..hope the scan looks great on Monday..

Dutchie - I am on DHEA and have an auto-immune - no issue..Just turns you into a man, gives you muscles and pimples..
Not really.. seems to give me more energy. I take 50mg in the morning and 25 at night. The downside is - it does give me pimples..not dozens but usually one or 2 volcanoes (yes really noice..) at a time.

Smithy - the the weird pains are good weird pains.. hope you're staying sane..

CP - hope you're doing well today after EPU.. more importantly..hope you got some good news regarding the embies today..

Sara - orgalutran is usually started automatically on day 5 by IVFA - as long as you haven't O'd yet - will not affect FSH or follie production at all so don't fret.

Infinity - welcome to the thread. You are more then welcome to join..although not for long I hope..

Lovely Loula - how are you sweetness..I hope you're doing ok..

Sam - hope things are ok with you..I know you have a lot on your plate..thinking of you..

Hi to anyone else I may have forgotten.. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.. dreary, cold and wet in Sydney..

Just a quick one, scan today showed approx 18 follies of about 14mm, I have another scan on Mon and will likely trigger that night for EPU on Wed, I am very excited but keeping my cool, you would think I would be an old hand at this, but I must say the hope/expectations are just the same. Hope everyone is having a good weekend, love to all xx

    HI everyone,

BDT- WOW 18 follies that's excellent, I'm soo jealous. Wishing you the best for EPU on wed.

MsP- Thanks for info about DHEA. I had heard it can cause greasy skin and pimples but hadn't heard of it turning you into a man before pmsl something else to look forward to. I'm going to run it by FS, see what they say thanks again.

Smithy- Hope the TWW is going quickly for you, fingers crossed for BT on the 8th.

Saph- I hope the TWW is being kind to you, best of luck for BT on the 15th

Hi all, looks like I am here with you guys. We lost our IVF baby this week at 8 weeks. Have FS appt on 30 June to start IVF again, can't believe we are going back for cycle #9. Quick rundown of our treatment - so far we have done 3 EPU's, 5 transfers, 1 x cancelled cycle, 1 cycle with no embies, OHSS which landed me in hospital, a chem preg, and now my lost baby.

We are giving it until the end of the year, at which point the new medicare caps will make it too expensive to continue treatment. It is horrible to have that pressure, that I have to fall pregnant before the end of the year or no baby for us.

Thanks for the warm welcome :)

    Hi Ladies,

Thanks for the very warm welcome

BecD - I have no words to tell you how sorry I am. I know any loss is traumatic but I feel that an IVF loss has added issues and emotions. Something so hard fought for and finally you think you've made it, you are going to get your dream, and then it's taken from you and you are back to where you started - it's just shattering. I've been there (I'm still there honestly), and I get the anger and the unfairness of it all. Will be thinking of you and wishing you the strength you need to keep going. Best of luck and hopefully I can be of some support while you're back in here.

Sara69 - Hooray for being able to start! You are going to be a walking pin cushion! All those needles! Sounds like you have a great plan. Happy Birthday too - hope it was lovely.

Babydreamtime - Fantastic news on your follies. Best of luck for this week - I am excited for you.

Smithy - you're halfway there!!! Hoping weird pains and sore boobs are all for a good cause. I will be thinking of you

Saph204 - Good luck with your TWW - I think we will be having final bloods on the same day.

Hi to MsPink, Dutchie80, CuddlePie, JBM, Wouldloveabubba & Tiggerlinda - hoping you are all doing well.

AFM - Transfer tomorrow. I've been having acupunture this time round and will have it tonight and tomorrow after transfer. I'm trying to be positive but we and now the FS think it might be an emby issue. My babies look perfect, always commented on by the FS how great they look - so we can't figure out what's happening. I've had tests for 3 different implantation issues and all fine. If this FET is unsuccessful it will mean a break for us and discussions with the FS about the next step. Can I still post here with you guys in my TWW? Think I might post in the TWW thread too - last time my posting coincided with a run of BFP's in there (yes I'm taking credit!! lol) - let's see if i can do it again - always glad to help.

    Thinking of you all xx
