Hi to all you lovlies, Im just crusing along, taking the pill to schedule EPU with a new Lab, that is getting great results, oops nearlly forgot to mention DH is HOME ...... yayyyy ... he's wathing the footy, having a rest, his car broke down on the way home, and it was a $1000.00 to get towed home, the good news is he's home, 3 wheel nuts had snapped off the wheel, it was hanging on by one bolt,

Thankyou for your support. It's still pretty raw but we are doing okay.
Good luck infinity for tomorrow, I hope everything goes well at transfer, at the acupuncture helps. I have always found it to be very relaxing and keeps me balanced, which I assume can only be positive during such a stressful time.

Went for transfer this morning, on the way there FS rang and said emby wasn't doing so great - was 4 cell and had lost 2 overnight. He said it's still ok for transfer but less chance of success - did we want to thaw another and put them both in? I was in shock - and DH & I had to make a quick decision. Both DH & I and our FS have always been against putting back two for many personal reasons. But we decided to thaw the other and put back two. So here I am with two embies on board and a little shocked. These were out last snowbubs too.... Now it begins............
I'm trying for a positive attitude this time - wish me luck!

Sorry for being absent lately, I guess I had a little tantrum with IVF and really had enough of it...EPU went well but we didn't get as many eggs as I expected, only 6, my expectation was 7 or 8, so very dissappointed. By Day 1, we were down to 3 fertilized and today Day 3, 1 x 8cell, 1x5cell and 1x2cell. Exactly the same result as last time. Goodbye Antagonist cycle, next time it will definitely be down-reg cycle.
I've decided to do a 'freeze all and no transfer' this cycle. Just to let the 8 cell and 5 cell one keep growing and hopefully get something to freeze. Given my current body condition, I just don't see the point...
They say my 8 cell one is very good quality, being grade 1 and 5 cell is grade 2, so I am holding out hope secretly that at least we will have 1 blastcyst. After all the setbacks, I do learned that 'everytime you have a plan, life throw a chanllenge to mess it up', so I am also prepared it won't go as planned.
I am arranging with FS to schedule the Hysteroscopy this month and going to take at least two months break from TTC. I am actually feeling relived of our decision and looking forward to the post op recovery and enjoy a bit more in life because currently I have none.
CPie, Thinking of you and hope your two embies keep growing, the 8 cell one sounds great and there is a good chance for the 5 cell one too.
My scan yesterday looked pretty similar like the last two cycles - 10 follicles overall and three a decent size between 10 and 13mm - so looks my egg numbers will be small againa nd it will be a hard time after EPU to worry if there will be a transfer - trying to be as relaxed as possible, went to meditiation oNsunday and Monday and have Acupuncture tonite.
Cuddlepie, I can feel your sadness in your post - huge hugs to you. I'm sorry you are dissapointed but your 8 cell and 5 cell embies sound fabulous - fingers crossed you get your perfect blastie. A break sounds like just what you need, wishing you a speedy post-op recovery. I also hear you about having no life, when you are up to it maybe start trying to do all the little enjoyable things, going to movies, shopping, - whatever you like to do. I need some ideas myself so maybe I'll start a thread on things you can do to get some sort of a life back.....
Sara69 - about how long until your EPU now? I'll be thinking of you and hoping for some fantastic quality eggies in there. We'll try to be here for you for that hard wait between EPU & transfer. x

Cuddlepie, I am so sorry to hear that you are not happy with your EPU results. But your embies sound great, I hope you get a few to freeze and they will be ready and waiting for you when you are ready. I think you have made a good decision to wait, though I know how hard that waiting is. Will be thinking of you and watching out for how you go with your op.

AFM, trying not to feel nervous and not think too much about it. My E2 level was 12500 yesterday, I am a bit concerned that this is too high, I have had cycles in the past where I have responded well with a decent number of follies but with levels this high, and my theory is they have resulted in crap quality embies. So now trying not to worry about this also as I know it is about quality not quantity.
Hi to anyone else I have missed. I am loving the action in this thread at the moment, it can be a bit quite at times, and I just can't bring myself to post in the LTTTC thread anymore, I end up too jealous of the lucky ones that seem to come and go so quickly. Praying it is my turn soon, and same for everyone else here. xx
