I have also used sick leave for any time I've taken during an IVF cycle - the specialist has always been happy to write out a medical certificate. I've taken between 3 and 7 days off around OPU and ET depending on the timing of everything. Don't think my boss is that wrapt about me taking the time but as far as I'm concerned it is sick leave and I'll take the time that my specialist recommends.
