Hey guys,
i can not believe my eyes, No AF and it is day 29, 16DPO. Although i have felt like it is coming. You know that feelign of pressure and slight cramping. Pink mucus and nothing else.
Rols, Kotare, Holly
We only just told my parents about 12 months ago and then they only knew more about it all 4 months ago when we were home for a heap of tests etc. I needed to find out too about mum's history etc but she still has not told me much. She feels bad because dad only had to wink at her and she was preg, for all 3 of us. But she was also 10 years younger. We tried over the years of doing things in secret, then pretending not to want to have kids, then having 'fun' with it all then, timed to the last minute, then tell everyone, then speak to no one and at the end of the day after 8 years of different commitments, we just don't give a ***t. People can say what they like, mind you it does help that we are in another country. But sometimes that can be hard too as when you need the support they are so far away. Parents can be funny. About 8 years ago, you would never catch my folks dead doing anything too alternative, now, they are all for it with in reason. So eventually they come around.
As far as tempting fate, i do it every month, so you are not alone. I think if i test early enough i will beat AF from arriving and i can start the journey as early as possible!! Hee hee we do the strangest things. Right now i catch myself smiling thinking, i might be pregnant and then stop myself because i don't want to be hurt again. We protect ourselves in anyway we can.
Rols,
We are in London now and about to move to Essex. An Eastender!!! I will have to get the hoop earrings out and wear my hair in a side ponytail!! Finding work can be a challenge depending what you do. I am a chef, and my husband a restaurant manager so we are fairly lucky. But there are plenty of big towns in rural area. Cornwall is very seasonal though.

Good luck for Monday and hope all can go ahead. Fingers crossed.
Sparkles,
The weather south of paris is apparently fine, half there luck. Friends that are in Greece say that the beaches are deserted until 8 at night at the moment because it is so hot. Aussies could handle it i am sure!! When do you come over to Europe? and where are you going?
Everyone else, hope you had agreat and relaxing weekend.
Hubby and i just wnet to see Shrek 3, brilliant and although there is a big emphasis on babies and becoming parents, it was well and truely a good laugh!
Take care all
Hippy Mum
