Nic, don't feel bad, it's only recently with my O date confirmed that I've been able to estimate when transfer will be. Yesterday, in fact. Being 4DPO now, and transfer happening at 5DPO, and everything is shaping up for a 5 week cycle... I'm the same with the levels and things - I've had lots of discussions with doctors about my LFTs for that same reason.

I'm being summoned to bed here... Good night, all!

How many eggs did you get at EPU - unless I read your post wrong?? (Which may be likely - but I think you mentioned follies not eggs?)

They had said i had 14 follies at the ultrasound, but only got 8 eggs. I want to talk to the FS about this next time i see him. I really thought that most people had more. Do you know what i mean? I was growing all those follies and they were empty. Because we are doing ICSI, i wanted to have as many as possible, seeing as ICSI damages more than standard IVF. And you are so lucky that your acupuncturist is so dedicted. What a treasure!

I took a really low dose of GonalF (112.5). I have no weight gain (actually a 1-2kg loss) so i don't think i'll get OHSS. But i am keeping an eye on myself!! When i woke up this morning, i was in a bit of pain, but i was soooo pleased to be in my own bed. I am telling DH that i'm fine, but i'm nipping out for some more panadeine forte soon

BW - Sorry to hear that your neck is giving you grief, retail therapy and hair cuts are always a good pick up.

Nic - Glad to hear that your results were all of a positive nature; the 5 weeks till your FS appointment will fly.

Mel – How soon is your Lap? Hope it goes well anyways and that you can get the money you need for the next cycle ASAP.

As for me, took my last Clomid tablet this morning
My acupuncturist has also given me some herbs this month and after initial panic attacks about it I have started taking them.
It didn’t help that after I had my first dose yesterday afternoon; a friend at work came into my office and said I looked stoned.
It’s funny – if a GP, Gyno, etc gives me pills I will just take them, but when it is herbal I freak out.
We have booked all our preliminary IVF tests for the 15th of June, so if this cycle is a bust we will be having a couple of weeks before we need to do anything else.

woo hoo nic! i know so many people that share our burfday hun! are you doing anything special? we're probably going to the local pub for dinner (it's either that or all my family would decide they want to come visiting this weekend, and i need some time out atm!). DH says he's bought me something, but i'm not too phased - we're going to queensland in a couple of months (for his birthday) and going to Australia Zoo to walk with the tigers before it opens in the morning (hehehe, i get a very belated present - and i'll drag him to bundaberg to go to the distillery for his special thing)

ATT - really hope the clomid is friendly and you manage to catch the eggie this month around.

Jo - fingers crossed for a great fert rate and easy t'fer for you

well, i'm now waiting to finish the double dose of provera tomorrow night. so far, i'm feeling ok - all the cramping and major moodiness stopped yesterday after i took the second dose of tabs, and i'm guessing i'll be ok til i stop taking them again and the wait for AF begins. kinda worried about how i'll react - i'm so not a nice person and my poor DH cops it big time (he definitely took advantage of my good mood yesterday!)

I have just read your messages and I find you ladies so amazing my DH and I have been TTC for over 12 months and I have found that to be such a long and emotional battle, but to hear about some of you that have been trying for 8 or 10 years and still sounding so positive really is a reality check for me.
Congratulations to Sazz, I cant imagine waiting 10 years to get pregnant, you obviously really deserve every happiness.
I am currently waiting to see the fertility specialist to give me the all clear for a FET

BG - I'm jealous! Would love to do the tiger walk one day. I'm just hanging out for DD to be old enough so we can all go together. Hope to see some pics when you get back.

Not doing anything too special. I told DH that I don't want anything for my birthday (he got me an electrolux twin clean vac cleaner last month) but DD is insisting on it. We are going to my parents, so I've told DH that I want us all to go out to a golf driving range and play a bit of putt putt. Then go back to mum and dads for pizza.

Hi Lovely ladies just poping in as i dont know how myuch time i will have over the next few days, 30th birthday party, market then staff meetings next week. hoping it can take my mind off the last few days in this TWW!

im still testing every day and even though i wake up and say im not going to do it today as quick as a flash im on the loo peeing on a stick.lol

BT wednesday and an very up and down on how things are.

Hi everyone,
Well, just went in to have the ET done. We found out that from 14 follies, we got 8 eggs, 2 were immature, 6 fertilized and only one made it to today (day 2). I was pretty devastated. I know that we got one out of it and i should be thrilled and excited. I am now paranoid that there is something else wrong with me other than endometriosis. Why else would all my eggs be dodgey. Unfortunately, seeing as it was a saturday, i was seeing the on-call doctor, not my FS. The on-call guy was not great on the personality side, but he did say that the results were very poor and we should definitely book in to see our FS in about 2 weeks to get some explanations. Needless to say i walked out to the lifts and burst into tears. Every doctor and nurse we have seen so far have been so positive and we had such high expectations.

Oh well, sorry to be a sad sally. I know i should be happy enough. This poor little emby inside me has a lot of hopes pinned on it. Testing is the day before DH's 31st birthday.

Jo, I'm so sorry to hear the results weren't what you were hoping for. Did you have ICSI? Our FS was talking to us about how the actual ICSI process can damage the eggs as they can't see where the genes are and could be injecting into the wrong part of the egg. He also mentioned something called a polscope which helps them see things better so they damage the eggs less. So it's not certain that there is something else apart from the endo, it could have been the ICSI itself, and I'm assured that it can be overcome. I'll be praying that your one super-emby will be all it takes, though!
