    Macca, my sweet,

2WW or TWW is the two week wait between O (or pick upwith IVF) and your HPT or Blood test.

If it'll help, there's a list of common abbreviations we use in the Messages for Moderators and Forum Help section called Common Forum Jargon, Abbreviations & Acronyms that you can refer to if you get stuck!

    Hey there,

Glad I'm not the only one in the tww, we can all obsess together although I really do expect it not to happen anymore.
Hopefully one month I will get a lovely surprise.

Fig - I'm only 8dpo so it would be silly to test already (not to say that I haven't been silly before, lol).
Good luck with the transfer, you only need the one!

Macca - I'm so happy for you that you are in a good place atm, I know it wouldn't have always been that easy.

Boo - hopefully you wont need that appointment.

Nic - when does the bd fest begin, lol.

I just had a look at the other threads, 13 ladies pg we need what they're on!!!

Hi everyone....it feels like ages since I've posted!

Jo, I can't go into the other threads at the moment.. I have noticed there is a bit of a BFP epidemic and while I am happy for those girls and normally it doesn't bother me, this week it IS! I just want it to be me like the rest of us in here.

There has been a bit of a rush of new pg ladies at work in the last 2 weeks as well which I don't think has helped me. Two of which were "an accident". Don't we wish!
Don't mind me, I'm just having a whinge! lol

Boo, good luck in your TWW. It must be our turn in here so I hope you're able to escape this month! No pressure!

To all of the new girls, Dreambubba, Fig and Macca...I don't think I have posted since you have joined us, so welcome!

As for me, we are waiting to see if we can do our FET in December. AF is due early Dec and then I have to O at the right time (due to xmas) for transfer to go ahead. If I don't, the cycle will be cancelled and then we will have to wait until January. Now, it's just a matter of deciding whether to transfer one or two embies! We keep changing our mind, thinking we have plenty of time as this is only our 2nd cycle. I don't know!

Jo - BD began at the start of the week, then had a couple of days off because I had a sore back. Got back into it last night though LOL. Asked DH if he felt like BDing, and the hugest grin came across his face. Obviously he had no problems with feeling used this time. Told him he was on duty again tonight, so we catch an eggie this month.

Hope all are doing well where ever you are up to in your cycles and toes crossed for you all.

sushee Thank you for the abbreviations link, I think I am getting my head around it all now

Megan Thank you for the welcome and I understand what you mean about it being a BFP epidemic. For me I feel like it has been going on for a while now. One person tells you the are then you deal with that and then another one comes along. At times I wish they would tell me there secret instead of saying things like "relax, it will happen when you are ready, have a holiday or go out on a big night on the town or just don't try", I know that are trying to be supportive but sometimes Hopefully your surpirse will be just around the next corner

For me, today was day 8 BT & US which was basically looking at my Oestrogen again and also seeing how many follicles are there and what size they are. Looks like reducing my Puregon to 100 has slowed things down a little which is great, so my Oestrogen was 4640 which they said was good for this stage in my cycle. The US show 17 little follicles, 11 on the left and 6 on the right, but at the moment they are still a little on the small side and still need to do some growing so another BT & US on Monday.

I was told not to expect all these follicles to have eggs in them and they don't always make it through to egg pick up, however I still was rather surprised at the number, I was really only expecting to see half that. Now this explains the bloated feeling and tight feeling in the lower stomach.

I am feeling much better from these test results today, was feeling from my last BT that I was going to over stimulate and they were going to cancel the cycle but now all seems to be going good again so now we just have to wait and see! Playing that waiting game again!

Nic, thanks for the hugs! I was having a bad day last night and just needed a bit of a sook I think! All better today. It's the weekend and I have to get a good start on the chrissy shopping, so I'm not going to let it get to me. I am going to enjoy christmas this year I have decided and not let TTC get me down. LOL at telling your DH he is on duty tonight!! Funny, they're quite happy to be used and abused!! lol

Macca, good luck with your US Monday. I have just been my through my first stim cycle and I had 19 follies (which I was completely surprised by too!) and then at pick up I only got 6 eggs. When she told me 19 follies, I expected a higher number of eggs I guess! However, after speaking to my Dr this week he said I was on the lowest dosage injections and my eggs were all good quality (all fertilised and all but one of those left went on to be frozen). So, I guess it's better to have 6 good eggs rather than 15 ok ones! Hope you get good news and Monday and have your pick up date.

Lou, good luck for Monday! Hope everything goes well! Are you definitely having 2 transferred? I think I'm heading in that direction myself.
Hope everything goes well!! Lots of sticky vibes to you!

Im trying not to stress too much already, ive mentioned in a post b4 i always try my very best at having everything in harmony during a cycle and it all comes crushing down.... you lovely ladies im sure will help me to stay on track.

Megan - Yes two!!!!, every time i go to me FS she changes her mind, 1, 2, 1 , 2 so we'll wait and see on Monday. Thursday is more of a tough day though so im might see if i can swap things around at work a bit. Im hoping that AF shows up for you really soon sweets and that you can have a BFP from santa.... Looks like my BT will be on our first wedding anversery (sp?)

Boo - hope everything is going well with you

    Hi girls

Welcome Fig, Dreambub & Macca hope your stay is a very very short one and you can cross over to the expecting pages soon!

Monnie - so glad the HSG came back all clear, i agree about our plumbing getting a bashing through all this, more on mine later...

Melbel - all the best with starting IVF in new year and i'm glad all your immune tests were fine, hopefully with IVF and ICSI your RE will be able to select the biggest healthiest embie ever and you'll have your BFP, the best wedding present ever!!

Nic - Deep heat LOL, yes i imagine it might take his breath away, in an all together other way!!

Zap - hope you are doin ok, thinking of you, whats the news?

Boo - how are things coming along in the TWW?

Megan - Big Hugs, i have decided to enjoy Xmas this year as well and to start afresh in the new year, hope it does us good!!

DJTTC- Jo the TWW is a killer isnt it, still every one is a chance so fingers crossed for you darl!!

Loula - Mondays the day hey, all the best sweety and i say go for gold with 2!!

Well girls i had my Hys-Co-Sy (Hysterosonography with Contrast) and gee whiz was it painful. First i had an abdominal ultrasound and it turns out that i have 2 fibroids about 2cm in diameter each. They are within the uterus wall so not unusual for a woman my age and will not affect my ability to conceive so i am grateful that they aren't within my uterus, but something to keep an eye on so they dont grow and impinge on the uterine cavity itself. Quite scary having this ultrasound, got a look at all my bits including my kidneys!!! Which were normal thank god, kept expecting something weird to be growing inside there, but their wasnt. Except for the fibroids which were new!!

Ovaries looked a little "peppered with calcium" which the sonographer said was probably related to when i had the endometriosis removed, which if you looked at the ovary, looks like the surface is a bit sandy, but does not affect their function.

Ok then came the second part of the procedure, the contrast through the tubes. Firstly the radiologist had trouble getting a canula to fit through my cervix seen as how it was day 9 and it was slammed shut, so she tried 3 different ones. That was pretty painful and once she got it in, wow talk about hurties!! But nothing compared to when she started injecting the contrast.

All I could think about was how painful contractions must be because this was pretty bad. The right tube was clear and a little painful but i felt and saw the fluid flow through and spill into my abdomen (i had my own monitor to watch all the procedings) but the left tube, that likes to bend around behind my uterus along with my left ovary, that took alot of effort and alot extra contrast and a hell of alot of pain 9 (i nearly fainted) to get through it so it turns out that my left tube may have been twisted and cut off. Good news is that with the blasting through of the contrast it corrected itself and even my ovary came out of hiding.

So i am the proud owner of two small fibroids, two clear and now untwisted tubes, and two correctly positioned, albiet salt and peppered ovaries!!

Dont think i will get an insemination in before Xmas tho so i've decided to enjoy some christmas cheer and start the new year afresh!!

    Hey Twomums

That's good news! Welcome to the club of fibroids! I've got a couple too...same as you, they are in the uterine muscle so shouldn't impact upon fertility. I had a couple of really nasty ones a few years ago that I needed to get embolised...thankfully the operation worked...and although it was painful, I met a much loved friend...pethadine!

Sorry to hear the procedure was so painful. I have heard it is more painful if there is some blockage but that is fantastic that they were able to remove it!

    Great news.

Loula - good luck for monday, sending you lots of positive vibes.

Twomums - you poor thing, I really hope that you recover quickly it all sounds pretty good though especially if it cleared your left tube.

Well ladies looks like I'm out this month, feeling pretty lousy about it at the moment but trying to keep my chin up.
I hope someone else on here can have some luck this month.

    HI GIrls,

Well I gave in today and did my HPT and as suspected i got the BFN i was dreading . My official BT is Wednesday so I will still front up, more so to plan when I can start again on my next cycle than the results of the BT. DH is shattered - doesnt cope well and really wont communicate at all

My best friend just announced her pregnancy yesterday. I am truly pleased for her, she conceived on her wedding night! She went off the pill only 6 weeks before the wedding so it was only her 2nd cycle and she fell! Can you believe that I was just starting my drugs at her wedding - preparing for this cycle, and yesterday she announces she's 7 weeks! ANyone I am praying that it happens for me some time during her pregnancy so I can share the joy.....

Thanks Girls for all the prayers. Maybe next time.
