LT TTC after Miscarriage or Loss #4

Sunbeam-i felt no different then a natural pregnancy all my pregnancy symptoms boobs ect started after i got my BFP but i did have a feeling i was just like with my 3 boys.
My leave started today i just want wednesday over with so i can relax until the next scan in two weeks then if that one is good maybe we will be in the clear.

I said I had high hopes for you - you fully lived up to your name. I am so very very happy for you.

Crafty - just wanted to let you know, even with my one pregnancy that worked, I got BFN at 10 DPO. I know I tested then because I was going to the doctor for a general checkup that day and wanted to know. Then 2 days later I got a BFP.

Sunbeam - I do not know if they show "I did not know I was pregnant" in Australia, but apparently it is possible to go through the entire pregnancy without any symptoms. So do not stress if you do not think you have them at 5 DPT. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I think your instincts are trying to tell you that this bub is OK and you just will not listen because you are so worried. I believe the mother just knows, and if you have the same feeling as with your boys, then the bub is OK.

Matthew's mum - did you test?

Ladies, I think I will cautiously say I have a BFP. I did another test Saturday morning, and this time I could definetly see a faint line. I did another one Sunday and the line came up much faster and is certainly stronger. So I take this as a sign that the hormones are going up. My boobs are hurting now, and the tiredness and nausia are kicking in. The last one is new to me, I never had morning sickness with any of my pregnancies. Taking it as a good sign. I am trying not to get too excited, because the MC rate at my age is around 50%. But then I think, 50% means that every other one should work, so I have MC - baby - MC, so this one should be a baby, should not it? I am trying hard to put a positive spin on the statistics.

I will be moving to the PAML thread, it just does not feel right for me to stay here. You have all been so very kind to me, and I think you brought me good luck, I will be stalking you, looking for good news. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will see you all in the PAML thread really soon, because you are really a wonderful group.

Alice - I was just shocked to hear how difficult the last week has been for you. Good luck with the transfer today.

Sunbeam - Every pregnancy is different. I don't think you need give up hope at all. I think you could easily still be pregnant. It's still early days.

AFM - we took the dog to the beach for the weekend and she really enjoyed it. She seems a bit better as well. The vet said this morning he will see her again Thursday and decide whether he thinks further investigation is required. Glad I didn't take his advice to put her down on Friday.

AF has arrived so I am out for this month. I was really down about it when it happened yesterday but feeling like, oh well, there is always next month. I watched poor DD run up to every kid on the beach and ask them to play and I felt so sad for her. She doesn't really want to be an only child. She just longs for the company of other kids. I'm also sad that even if we do get to have another child there will be 4 years between them and they won't really play the same kind of games for long.

afm well BFN again so no suprises there then so I guess if ferrals is correct there is no point me testing again is there just waiting now for AF to arrive and seriously thinking of just giving up this is such a sh*t life always thinking about TTC it sucks big time !!!!!

Crafty-9dpo for bfp is what my body does there are plenty of women who get bfp's much later even after 14dpo.
Angelicdragon in the other thread is 46 and got a bfp so hang in there.

Craftymummy- I can understand where you are coming from, it does rule your life, when I think about how much feeling up and down has consumed me in the last two years, it really is a strain. I don't know whether you want us to encourage you to keep at it or not but if you feel it is time to move on to other stuff you have all my best wishes and love and thanks for all your wise words. If not- stick with it hunny, you have all of our support through the good and bad times and either way I understand it will be diffucult, so enormous hugs for you xx

Ferals- all I can do is cross my fingers and toes for you, oh, and that is sh*tty about DH's niece, xxx

Sunbeam- I hope you can wake up tomorrow with porno boobs, i guess if you were getting cramping it might mean implantation so the boobs would come later after the hormones build up? My porno boobs have only ever come a few days before Af was due, don't get too down its the waiting thats a killer and it is too early to tell which way its going to go

Luna- CONGRATULATIONS well done gorgeous lady, very happy for you, see you in the PAML thread when we all escape from here!! ps we do get 'I didn't know I was pregnant" here, it is a crackup, one girl thought she had done a bowel motion and only realised when she went to walk away from the toilet and the umbilical cord held her back and she saw a baby in the toilet- bl**dy hell!

Clairesmummy- if you still have slippery clear mucous I would guess you haven't O'd yet, it tends to disappear fairly quickly once you have. I get ovary pain all through my cycle now, no idea why. Hope the blood test sheds some light!

No news from me, just finishing with old AF, hope she never comes back. I'm waiting ot hear from the nurse so I know when my next cycle is, lots more waiting probably, on the BCP which is giving me a headache but nothing to complain about really xxx

Hi everyone, I hope you won't mind me doing a quick post tonight and catching up tomorrow - I can see there is a lot going on but just got home and need to get to bed. Just wanted to let you all know that we had a grade 1 expanded blastocyst and a grade 2 early blastocyst transferred today with none to freeze. We are pretty happy with that knowing that our pg last year was from a grade 2 blastie. I had a late session of acupuncture tonight before coming home and feel a lot calmer and more positive though she was shocked that transfer went ahead after the ordeal of last week (she's been away). I'm OK with it, I feel OK considering but emotionally a bit drained so going to take it easy.

I know what you mean about the gap between kids. I never imagined it would be this large for me either. But your kids will enjoy a special relationship even if they're further apart. Your DD will enjoy the 'big sister' role even more than if they're closer together. That's my hope for my DD anyway.

Ferrals: I totally don't get it either: there's some bizarre Murphy's pregnancy law where the most undeserving are the most fertile. Crossing fingers for you that you get a lovely clear look at your healthy baby's fingers and toes on Wednesday.

Sunbeam: hoping you will get the BFP even without strong symptoms (it can happen).

Mathewsmum: not sure where you're up to with your osteo or other treatment. Hope you are well.

AFM: AF is finished and i'm due to have an U/S tomorrow to check that all is back to normal, one cycle after mc finally finished. BUt...i think i've changed my mind about TTC this month. Even if U/S looks good i don't know if i'm ready to TTC. I've just started a new job and i'm not sure i could handle the stress of a new job and then stewing over telling my new boss i'm pg just after i start there (assuming it happened quickly). My next pg (please let there be one) is going to be stressful enough with daily injections of clexane and extra tests for problems like thyroid that i've had in the past as well as fear of m/c. I think it's all a bit much. I think i'll see how i feel in a month but i'm thinking of giving myself til Dec or January before i TTC again.

Crafty- I pretty much understand where you are coming from. I have given up TTC now and will most probably not try again even when I am older. Between DP and I there are 3bubs. His oldest DD is 5, his youngest is 3 and my DS is 3 next month so between us I think there enough bubs now. The mental stress of TTC is way to overwhelming especially with my issues as they are, plus it has been putting way to much of a strain on our relationship which is why I have decided that enough is enough. I am still trying to find a way to tell DP that I do not want to TTC...ATM I have just been avoiding DTD around O time. Things between him and I are going ok right now. It isn't the greatest but it is ok and we are working things out slowly. Hopefully he agrees with me about no longer TTC rather than it cause even more issues lol.

Thank you for asking after me ladies. I guess I am in the TWW but obviously not expecting anything. I am pretty sure I have all my bases cover as to not get UTD. I know that sounds horrible, I am still coming to peace with it myself that this is the end and that it really is best to make sure I do not get UTD *sigh* I will definately miss the baby stage, especially with DS growig up so much now but such is life.

Alice - Yay on being PUPO!!!! I had a 2 grade embie and a 2- grade embie transfered so I have my FX for you.

I'm running late for work but just wanted to say all is well here. We have reached our 10 week milestone and bubs s doing fine. The sac def had a little person in there. So I can relax a bit now. NT scan is booked for the 26th October but I'll be 13 weeks lol. DH can't come as he's away for work so I thiught I might ask MIL if she'd like to come. This is the first grandchild on DH sied so she might get a kick out of it.

Porsche-Yeh! on the 10 weeks i am 15 weeks now it feels good doesnt it.

Damprye-I understand the way you feel i think if this bub has SLO then thats it for me our lives have been on hold with doctor appointment after doctor appointment and u/s after u/s and geneticist appointments FS appointments and now the uncertainty of if this bub is healthy is just all to much i dont want to do it again my marriage is to important and i think we should throw in the towel before all this baby stuff effects our marriage.
But it would be nice if you get a sneaky BFP when you least expect it the month we stopped ttc because i had to have a knee operation i fell pregnant with Abbi.

Possum magic-hope your u/s goes well and you will know the best decision to make
at the time.

AFM-Well tomorrow is my u/s i am excited and very nervous of what they will find i hope they find nothing to worry about they will look mostly at the heart hands and feet and bone growth that is were Abbi's obvious abnormalities were.
I hope that if all looks good i can stop worrying but i had a dream that when the baby was born it had SLO but was mildly affected so there were no signs until it was born so that is another concern maybe i should have the amnio on the 18th to be sure GGGRRRHHHH!!!! i just dont know what to do.

Ferrals, you can keep saying twins to me as long as you like it just makes me and it's early days so I can play with that fantasy for a while. Come on now, one step at a time, don't give yourself more to worry about, just get through this scan first and then think about that other test. I really hope your worries will end tomorrow so you can enjoy this precious time. How is your DH holding up? Are you going to find out the sex tomorrow? I hope I didn't upset you by wondering if it will be a little girl after all the grief you went through with Abbi. for tomorrow

Crafty I'm so sorry You've been through so much sadness and loss and months of disappointment since your mc. Like Saffy already said - we are with you no matter what decision you make. You've been so strong for a long time and it's OK to say you just can't take it anymore, it is hard to keep hopes and dreams on hold for so long. Clairesmummy, sorry everything feels very up in the air at the moment - so frustrating after a mc to figure out what our bodies are doing. I hope things improve for you soon and you can get a clearer picture of when you might be 'o'ing. Have you tried Vitex (chaste tree)? It is meant to be very good for regulating hormones and might help. Sunbeam and others recommend it.

T-hopes, is your bt tomorrow? How're those cramps? I think they are a great sign but know it must be freaking you out. Think of MurrayCod- she had them for weeks and weeks and all worked out well for her.

Just wondering, for you IVFers, has anyone been told their E2 and P4 after transfer? The nurses called this morning to say mine are good but just wondering what anyone else had? I know it's all relative...hmm, yes that's me obsessing already. I've been for a walk which was good but have had two really bad nights sleep so hope some of this anxiety can go soon, don't want to be worrying my passengers. Grow embies, grow! x

Alice-If the little bugger will sit still long enough of course we will find out if its a boy or girl and no you didnt upset me i really dont care what we have as long as it doesnt have SLO that is all that matters to us but i do feel more towards a boy for DH as he doesnt have one i have 3 and i got my girl even though for a short time she is my daughter watching over us so it's DH's turn for his boy.
Cant help with the levels after TF never had them done.
