I want to know, how you know you're pregnant apart from the BT? Like my cousin had IVF and she said she just knew she was pregnant but with the pregnyl and crinone they give you symptoms like you're pregnant anyway..

If that makes sense.

Is there anyway of knowing within the 2 weeks apart from the BT?

Nat - so glad to hear that your embryos made it to blastocyst! Welcome to the TWW - I hope it goes by as quick as possible for you too Did you have any other embryos other than the two blastocysts you had transferred? Were any put into storage? Anyway, I'm just very glad you were able to make it to your double blastocyst transfer

CB - thanks for the sticky vibes, hun. I did have a double transfer too, so there is a bunch of us here with potential twins happening! ...But really just hoping for happy and healthy pregnancies for us all

With regard to the number of cells in each embryo, my FS gave me that info after our very first transfer back in November, so I have got used to asking her now and I always like to know, I guess! 7 cells sounds great the day before transfer - growing away nice and strong My husband tends to like to give our embryos names as well sometimes - although it's all a bit scary I think it's really nice to see DH making a connection there, even though I'm fairly certain he's as scared as I am about whether it will work or not

As to knowing if you're pregnant apart from the BT, I don't think there is any real easy answer to that, hun especially if you're on pregnyl shots during the TWW, there is no way to do a HPT as you'll potentially get a false positive. It's too difficult often to separate the symptoms of the Crinone/Progesterone and Pregnyl from signs that you are pregnant or even that AF may be coming. This is why the TWW is so horrid - there is no way to really know until the BT results, and it's obviously so frustrating to have to wait until then.

Good luck, hun. I hope the wait flies by as quickly as possible for you, and that you - and we all - get our own special BFP at the end of the wait.

country blue - i am not reading into any symptoms this month as i find that I get my hopes up too much and I start playing mind games with my body if that makes sense. The TWW is horrible!

MC - I only had two blasts from yesterday but the embryologist kept the remaining embryos as they werent that far behind but i havent received a phone call as yet

Does anyone know what to do to assist implantation? I am so scared of doing anything. If i cough or move the wrong way or laugh. I know that is really stupid but you just get scared that maybe your not giving it your everything. Maybe its the drugs playing silly buggers with my mind. My transfer was on Saturday but I have taken a few days annual leave so there is so stress on me what so ever only stress is my husband making a mess of the house hehehe. He is a great support couldnt ask for a better guy

Mmmm beginning to think the TWW is horrible too, so is my husband. Last time we just thought we were pregnant!

I'm going to take a sickie on the day of the BT, there's no way I'm standing at work knowing the results are in and not wanting to hear them until I get home. No way.

Nat, the only thing i know of that may help implantation is Acupuncture. also helps in relaxing you too. welcome hun, and good luck with your remaining embryos.

i am 2 sleeps away from BT now. no AF so far. i did a HPT yesterday morning but it was BFN. i am still feeling hopeful though. i was dancing on the weekend and having fun, it was nice to not be focused on the TWW for a change

Hello all,
Tried to do some 'puter renovation over the weekend and run some upgrades - only to stuff computer up and not have internet access! DH not amused and I spent Sat in tears...

Thanks for everyones kind thoughts and words. Feeling better and pain gone, just have underlying upset tummy which I'm guessing is the progesterone. Trying not to get too ahead of myself but feeling positive - DH and I were thinking up boys names at breakfast this morning (already have a girl name one picked) - I know it is dangerous teritory but it is nice to have a bit of fun

Nato25 - I'm trying acupuncture to help with implantation. I'm not sure how it will go, but it did stop the pain I had on the day following the transfer, so even if it is just making me feel better, I figure that has got to help. Good luck and take it easy. Glad that the transfer went well. Your BT date is just after mine. Good luck.

to everyone else i missed, sorry but my mind it swimming atm. I had a really vivid dream last night that i got a +tive hpt. Af is not due to fri/sat (longish leutal phase). Anyway because my bb's have been painfully sore for the last 3 days and i had that rib pain i decided to POAS. Well i got a ...................... BFP!!! OMG!!!

I am freaking out, i am really super duper excited but i am also very nervous of having another m/c. i am going in for a bt on thursday so i will get my results on friday as i have managed to score a quicky appoint with fs. Going to be only thinking positive thoughts but i definatley wont be calm until i know it's ok.

Hi I am new to this thread i am 3 days PT with a blastocyst . This is my first FET but second transfer i am a nervous wreck I keep wondering what every niggling little pain is. Does anyone know much about how the blastocyst is supposed to look when it is transferred, the scientist told me it had not expanded as much as it should have but then my Dr said it was still a good embryo to transfer. Another question do you have to have implantation bleeding ?? What level of cramping is normal ??
