I think I forgot my lunch time dose yesterday - oops! I certainly did feel better yesterday, though. I'm already on the slow release version, and I always tolerated the metformin well when I was on 1000mg/day. Once I'd read that the usual dose for PCOS was higher than 1000mg, I did put myself up to 1500mg/day - but I didn't notice any difference, and I went back to the 1000mg I was prescribed when I started going to the FS. Then I was taking one with breakfast and two with dinner (which was often two just before I went to bed as I'd keep forgetting), and never had problems. The problems only started when I did as the FS suggested and was taking one three times a day. I didn't like the idea of taking an extra half a tablet morning and night when I have slow release... Hopefully it was just a slightly dodgy tummy for a bit, and things will be a bit better today (must remember that dose!). If it's just as bad, I might have to do the half a tablet thing - I never had problems with the non-slow release stuff.

Thanks for dropping in and giving us that info, Melbel!
