I plan to get some kind of belly support at soon as I can. I was sposed to ask my gp what he recommends for my spd, but forgot Will ask about osteo.
I'm glad I know about spd this time around. I won't be fobbed off because 'I'm older now'!!

Chiro is good for SPD too. Do you have a support belt? They can be helpful.

You're not supposed to use Deep Heat either during pregnancy - I'm sure I've seen Alan post that somewhere...

Oh and you can take panadeine during pregnancy, at least its stronger than panadol..

Check with your GP/Osteo I was using deep heat just not the anti inflamatory gels last time round for my pelvic instability/back pain on the recommendation of my ob and physio

I think you should invest in a wheat bag rather then a hot water bottle. you can get them from spot light for about $20. I found mine near where the candles and the oils are kept.
Is it possible for you to go have a pregnancy massage? I had one of these as i had heaps of back pain, i must admit it did only help for a week, but it was the best week ever!

I have a back injury at the moment...and my saving grace has been swimming - in a hydrotherapy pool if possible

I agree definitely a big wheat bag, they are wonderful.

Also when I was pregnat with DD I had pelvic instability and back and neck issues from a car accident and I did hydrotherapy during that time and it was really good and helped me get through the pregnancy. But I was in pain from quite early on... sooo hoping it doens't start early this time!

I hope you get some relief soon xxoo it really does suck
