Morning Ladies,
What a huge relief it is to finally be able to chat to like minded individuals. Alot of people just don't understand how strong the desire to have another can be and you always hear comments such as 'you already have four what do you want another one for?' and ' just be happy with what you have got'. My heart goes out to those couples who don't have any children and are on the ivf path.
I never in my widest dreams thought that ivf would be a reality for me but you have all given me a bit of hope, so thank you.
I will be looking into it and will let you know how we get on and what we decide.

hey em, is dh taking any time off work to help you? I so feel for you at the moment, so long ago it seems you started your journey and now you begin another chapter.....

I contacted IVF Sunshine coast yesterday and have requested a brochure. They offer a free consultation which is great news. I have not been able to stop thinking about it, isn't it funny how once you know there is a way you start to fantasise well that is what I am doing. To think that something I have longed for may eventuate is a very exciting prospect.

I just wanted to ask if there is ever a time when IVF is not a possibility? The reason I ask is that I had pregnancy induced hypertension that required taking meds in my pregnancies, I am hoping with regular monitoring that it will be okay and I will have as good outcomes as with previous pregnancies. I also know of women that had the same condition with some pregnancies but not others.

Oh so many questions, I will be sure to write them all down and take them with me for my first consult.

Yeah DF is taking 2 weeks off as of today. Going in at 11am and delivery is at 1:30pm that is if all goes to plan.

The witch showed up yesterday so now I`m just looking forward to this next month and I prey it is our month. Ive started taking 2 lots of Blackwells tablets, pregnancy and breastfeeding and conceive well so hopfuly that will give me a bit of a boost.. and Im also gonna chart and see what happens from there.
Hi Tami, great to hear things have started to move along for you, and Im sure with todays brains !! they can sort something out for the hypertension if it happened to show up this time.. all the best and I hope your journey is a short one..
