Thanks luv children for the info..I spoke to dr cooper this morning everything went fine..He answered all my questions fine, suggested i stay 2 nights in sydney just in case..still have to confirm with hubby to get time off possibly 8/3 if we decide to go with him & the dates still free tommorrow.
Hi Ray, I got some paperwork in the mail from dr downing, from what i read seems like a great dr who specialises in reversal, If youve got time up your sleeve i'd say he'd be worth seeing. For me though the only appt i could get with him was end of feb, cause he's so good he seems to have a long waiting list..not sure what i'll do now....good luck!

hey everyone. just letting you know that my dh had his op yesterday and everything went well. also today i went and had that hsg test. and my tubes are fine except that when they did the op they left a clamp or clip inside me i could see it on the screen. big shock.
i don't know maz i didn't even think to ask i'll have to wait until my next appt in march. but then again i should see my other doctor. and see what he says.
dea thats terrible, how could they be so incompetant? i hope that you are okay and i hope that whatever the doctor says is positive. i will be having one very soon too. i will let you know how that goes.
carma, i was sick after the anesthitic (vomiting) but withing two days i was okay. i had a bit of pain with the gas but that subsides in about two days. i hope thats useful.
Hey Dea...thats great news that Hubby is doing well,im glad hes ok. Well i wonder if the clip still being in there has anything to do with not falling pregnant as yet. Are you going to go back and see the doctor that did your op and make him accountable for what he has put you and your famil thru?????
yeah when i told my dh about it he was so peeved and and well of course i was to but that's not the point. when they do a job THEY SHOULD DO IT PROPERLY!!!!! and that could be the reason i have 'nt fallen yet. so yeah i will definatley be saying something to him. and it won't be nice either. i just want it out. but i'm dredding what the doctor's going to say.

just a quick question you said you went to a public hospital as a private uninsured and it was 6 to 8 weeks did you go on a waiting list or did you decided on that time. The dr i'm seeing in ballarat does it in public hospital and curious if you go on a waiting list.

Hi Ray.... No the doctors are allocated so many op a day in the public hospital. No waiting lists at all. My private doctor..Dr Cooper just gave me my hospital date at my first visit with him and that was it. Six weeks later my op was all over. I didnt want to wait not even a second more then i had to but having 5 kids already i had to think about the budget,so this was the prefect way for me.
hi mumof5.... thanks for that were the same we have 3 boys 2 which have problems matt my middle son has 1 lung and brandon my youngest has global development delay. so paying for alot of doctors appointment. I'ts very annoying that after we pay thousands for the doctor you end up paying thousands more for the hospital if can't go public, you would think medicare could pay some. I just realised her young you are did you want all you children young, they must keep you busy I know mine do

hi carma yeah with my hsg results i'm going to ring the hospital tommorow to get in earlier to talk about it. and i had my tubes tied at ipswich hospital.

Jed is still saying he doesnt think he wants anymore babies but i said that id like him to see at the end of the year. I didn't get the reversal done just for one ....come one. lol. WHo know's, knowing my lucky i'll already be pg as im not on the pill and we tangoed without any protection the other night. im a few days late but im not looking into it yet, still to early.

Hey Ray, yeah everyone says gee your young to have 5 kids,how old are you. I didnt plan it but im glad i had them young,so when my daughter is 18 ill be still young enough to go party with her. They keep me every busy and i get real tried but i wouldnt have it any other way. My 7yr old has ADHD and boy does he try my patients Grrrrr,the only time he stops is when he is sleeping and even then i wonder what he is up to in his dreams. He always comes out with something good in the morning. Yeah Maz just one more for me and ill be happy to call it a day. Im gunna have my tubes tied again if i ever fall again,it would be another c/s so it would be easy.Hubby will come around Maz and us women always win so best you tell him now . My body has just been so weird and up the **** since i had the reversal and i dont like it one bit. Hey Clara yeah not to bad had to cancel my appointment cause i dont have my pics yet cause im gunna see him about both. Hey Dea,just click on the smiles at the side there!it comes up as letters and dot when you are writing a post or reply but once you hit submit the smiles appear normal.
