hi everyone well i went and seen the doctor today about that clip and she said to me that it was from when i had my tubes tied. it was'nt from the reversal at all. and she said that when i fall pregnant it will not harm anything. which is good. and i said to her could i sue them and she said no i can't. and kiya how are you going? typical ipswich hospital.

Storm I know what you are going through at the moment as I had a slightly smaller age gap between Mark and Jayden being 15 months. I liked the bigger age gaps that I got with Aaron which is nearly 6 years which is a little bit too long but as I said I like it better.

Luvchildren I have also seen your website and I have joined up. I think that you are lucky your doctor admits to though things as my denies the lots and changes in your periods is due to your hormones changing all the time or it is that time in your life that your cycle changes. Load of bull if you ask me when your cycle was exactly the same for over 20 years even after having children.

I have to get going as I have to go and pick up Aaron early from daycare. I will try and get back here again soon and finish this post.

I hope that everyone is going well.

Storm, yeh it is very hard when they are little, but hang in there my first 2 were 14 months apart-and now they are 14,13 and they can be a bigger pain now sometimes then when they were little. the email should arrive soon.
crazymum2, yes exactly what i mean. after 20 years of normal periods, then having the ligation and then the problems-definately not a change, just the effects of the butchering. My doctor didn't admit to doing anything wrong-I was fighting them on it but ended up looking elsewhere for help.
maz, thankyou so much for your support-i hope our efforts reach women out in need of our valuable experience.

    Dea,

Got my first appt date 3- July. WOOHOO. I so can't wait to go. When you went for your appt, how where they towards having the reversal done and what was the time from from your first appt to the op? I'm only afraid that they will try the age thing on me, but age shouldn;t have anything to do with it i think.

    Cheers Kiya

kiya that's good news yay.anyway when i went for my first appt. the doctor's like asking me my age and my husband's age and why i wanted the reversal. so i told him why. then he's like telling me about the things that can go wrong. and i'm like yeah whatever that's just a scare tactic. so after my first appt i was supposed to have my op at the end of may but because i turned up with a bad cough they would'nt do it so that's when they did on the 27th june. so after that first appt kiya it won't be long. i've just been to see the doctor about my hsg test and they no longer want to see me. everything was fine.

that was how the dr was who i went to see about getting the referral in the first place. he wasn't my regular gp, and i know for a fact my reg gp was all for me having the reversal done and tried all the hospitals he thought of at the time then we stopped because they thought i had endometriosis, which it turned out i didn't, but we let my body heal a bit before looking into the reversal again. like i said to the dr, i know all about the risks etc, but really when you think about it, being preg is a risk no matter how old you are. he didn;t have a comeback then. keep you all updated on progress. dea - glad to hear that everything is going good, and sprinkling your way

carma, i'm pretty sure they were fishe clips-but i think they didn't cut and retie because it was a public hospital.

luvc - i was sick of the old tickers so I went on a hunt. the web address is in the ticker. they've got heaps of different ones.
mumof5 - I had the dye put through at op and they dont generally do it again. They will only complete surgery when the dye runs through correctly.
Well Jed and I were naughty yesterday morning. NO protection and on day 9 of my cycle. I Ov on day 12 so I'll pmsl if I fall pg. Jed didn't seem atleast fazed. atleast it will be good timing with christmas holidays and all.

hi mum of five it's just like a pap smear instead they put a thin tube thingy in there and then they put the dye through. if there's any blockages the dye will get rid of them.
