Yep thats me tellytubby, only found out a few weeks ago. My appointment with the specialist was meant to be on Monday this week but I chickened out at the last minute. It's now the 18th.

I'll look for my test results are let you know.

The only reasons I've been giving for my m/c's are "maybe this and maybe that" and of course my weight always seems to be the issue even though I conceived our eldest two pretty much fuss free. My pregnancies had a few chic ups but nothing too major. During my 2nd m/c which was after having our daughter they found a small fibroid in the lining/wall of my uterus and again I was giving the "it may or may not be the problem" speech. After my 3rd m/c and being treated like it didn't matter because of my weight I've seen Dr's less and less for help because I'm sick of being told the same thing.

I'm hoping the thyroid problem will be all the answers we're looking for but I'm so petrified my expectation are too high and if I don't get pregnant quickly it's going to be very heart breaking.

TTS - Im sorry its taken so long to TTC. We have been trying for over a year and it feels like forever. I cant imagine what 5 years feels like. I hope you get some answers at your appointment.

AFM - I had a very, very hard day yesterday. It was one year to the day that I lost my first Angel. August is such a terrible month for me this year. On a happier note, I awoke to my first AF since my D&C! Yay!

Im around Telly, just busy trying to stay sane while Dh is overseas and Uni has started so Im trying to squish in study and assignment time of a night when I finally get the kids to bed.

TMS, who did you see for your testing?

For whoever asked about thyroid levels, mine were tested as part of my m/c panel and they came back borderline. My specialist said he didnt think they were an issue to focus on BUT that they should def be monitored along with bHCG when I get pregnant, and throughout the pregnancy.

Hmm my cycles have gone whacky again. Im now 2 days late (and Dh isnt here so its definately not pregnancy related!). Last cycle I was 3 days early, and had spotting throughout. Honestly as if I dont have enough to worry about without cycle issues arising.

Ho hum. Everyone around me is either pregnant or with a newborn. My heart is aching. X

TT - He isnt home until right before christmas, which is longer than originally planned Hopefully it doesnt get pushed back any further again, nearly 8mths is a long bloody time, any longer and I might go insane! That and we are heading to Europe on Dec 29th for 17 days. Im not missing that for anything lol

He is keen to TTC right away but Ive been umming and ahhing about going back to Uni full time for next year so that I am halfway done with my degree before we have another bub. Means less time spent faffing around with it and not getting it finished until Im in my 30's. I think we will just see how we go. As for my cycles, AF was going on nearly 14 days late and finally reared her ugly head on Wednesday BUT its barely there anymore. I really dont know WTH is going on so I guess its off to the specialist I go.

Definately seems everyone is pregnant or just had a baby up here too. And even worse for me is that they all seem to be having girls *sigh*

AH Im not a cold person so that the one thing thats freakin me out about the trip lol But it was the ideal time of year workwise for us to go and for someone to watch the kids. Plus its a bit cheaper. I dream of NYE in Amsterdam and our wedding anniversary (jan 8) in Italy, my favourite place in the whole wide world. Ive been to Italy before but Dh has never been anywhere that isnt a war zone so I think I am most excited about taking him

I do not miss the coughs and flu's in winter, I always seem to catch everything that goes around. I hope your getting as much rest as you can being a busy mum

How are we all going lovely ladies?

Freya - I love Venice. We went to Venice, Florence and Rome when we were in Italy. Spent two nights in Venice, one in Florence and were going to stay eight in Rome. By day four in Rome, we were wishing we'd spent more time in Florence and Venice! I hope your DH loves it. On our trip, we went to London, Paris and Italy, just loved it. Well...most of it! Being winter in Paris meant they weren't a happy lot!

AF is here so nothing exciting from me. Although I thought we'd gotten lucky. She was all over the place in the beginning, so much so that I took a test. Anyone ever got a BFP during AF? I wasn't going to say anything, but I keep over analysing it. I have no symptoms. AF started over a week ago, started weird, but then went full on, as I've come to expect. Please tell me hormones peak during AF and that would give me a positive reading. Because I don't want to consider it's anything else

Hey PAC, have you considered heading to your gp in search of your answer? I won't consider anything else either Hun, it would just ruin your pattern! I know it's disappointing to think you didn't quite catch that egg, but there is always next month okay??

Toomanyshoes, how ar you going? Any updates? I've got an appointment with my ob on the 8th of September to discuss my thyroid.. I'm so nervous.

Afm we've officially started dtd without a raincoat. I am so so ready for a new addition to our family, my heart almost hurts I want it so bad.

Telly - I know I should go to the GP, I just don't want the questions, poking and prodding! Pathetic really. Next month we're on hold. Mum is going away for a month in May, so if we were to catch the egg next month, we'd be due in May, which means we'd have nobody to look after DD when we went to hospital. So having a little break for the minute. Guess it gives me a chance to see if there's a pattern with my cycle. I've got my fingers crossed for you that you get a BFP! Good luck with your appointment on the 8th

Hello my beautiful friends

Just updating you all, I had my ob appointment yesterday, and I am so so glad I went. I am feeling a lot more confident on things. Turns out they tested my last angel to see if it had passed due to any major diseases or problems, which would result in further losses. Everything came back clear, just one of those unfortunate events. He talked a lot - about losses, hoe really there isn't anything you can do to prevent a miscarriage and not to blame yourself. My thyroid levels are normal (hooray!). We talked about the birth centre and if I would be accepted. Bfn on that one, due to my history with pretty major pph. But I think I'm okay with that. I'm craving for a bfp now! We kinda stopped trying, as I was nervous about the appointment, but am now more ready than ever.
I wasn't too sure if dh was as excited as me, but I just opened up the iPad and saw he's been googling the chinesse pregnancy calendars to see our genre prediction!! Omg that just made my day . But won't tell him I know, he likes to be the manly man of the house! Haha!

Pac - Glad to hear you are enjoying life right now.

AFM - I went and saw my obs on Thursday and he said my blood tests showed that I have a blood clotting disorder that he thinks have been causing my m/cs. To fix the issue I have to take asprin and clexane injections daily after I get my BFP. Im so excited now, for the first time in ages I feel like Ive got hope. DH and I started ttc last night so lets hope it brings me another bfp!

Hey All
Diamond girl its great to finally gets some answers why this has been happening. May I ask what blood clotting disorder you have I too have one Factor V Leidin mutation heterozygote only finding out after having a stillborn @35wks. I got a surprise on Tuesday and am off to the ob on Thursday to start my clexane injections. So i'm a little all over the place atm with my emotions.

Diamond; was it antiphospholipid syndrome? If so, thats what I have too, and I have to take asprin and have clexane shots til 37wks. Im glad youve finally got answers!

Telly, glad you got your results back and everything was fine! How cute is your Dh!

Im getting really really clucky now *sigh* No TTC until December/January though. Being in this holding pattern sucks. Im trying to get motivated to get fit and shift the last of this pregnancy weight that just wont go away but I honestly cant be stuffed right now with everything else thats going on.

Cycles are still completely whacky too.

Im so excited for some of you TTC soon!!!

Hi ladies, so glad to hear your news DG and Telly! Hope there will be BFPs all round this month (or early next month ) and one for you too Pac if you've put your name in the hat lol!

I had a bit of a meltdown on Friday after I couldn't get my blood results to see if my platelets were still up. Feel silly about being so anxious but at the time I couldn't rationalize it and was very worked up. Anyway, alk came back good and my doc said we could go ahead and work on making that perfect baby. Cd 6 and we are most definitely going to give it everything we've got

For the first time since my miscarriage I am starting to feel not only hopeful but that fluttery giddy warmth and excitement about the whole thing. Hope that makes sense and you guys are feeling that a bit too.

So I say go Team Winter 2012 Baby!

Oh freya, I am so so clucky too.. Every baby I see is making me grin from ear to ear. When your hubby comes home, will it be only for dev/Jan? Hope you guys get a bfp first go. Are you taking your pre pregnancy vitamins? And I Hear you on the weight, I just can't get motivated either!

I didn't tell you all as it really has nothing to do with anything, but I cut my finger this week with the husbands filleting knife. It went in one side, and completely out the other. We had to call an ambulance as I couldn't pull the knife back through. So yes... Typing these messages is taking me forever!!! Lol!
