Meh. Liebs was in and out of nappies when he was 2.5: his childcare wanted to TT him and I wished them luck (I'd tried a month before and he wasn't having it: he knew what he was doing, he just wanted to do it in a nappy). I was very laid back about it, DH and childcare less so.

So he went back into nappies for a year, then decided to use the loo. It did not take him months to do it, it took a 2-second decision. No wee problem at all, the odd night wetting but it was the odd one.
