I was recently at my DH's work waiting for him to escort us onto the base (navy) for a visit on his ship. I was standing at the security check point with our two girls and DD1 looks at my tummy and loudly asks 'mummy, when did I come out of your vagina?'. I cracked up laughing and said 'when you were born, almost 4 years ago'. When she said this we were within very close proximity to the security guards... I wonder what they made of her question?

Same daughter, different story. We were visting my mum and we packed several books but left one with the song 'where is thumbkin' at home. When we were at my mum's she asked me for the 'f***ing' book because she couldn't say thumbkin. She was at the age where things are asked repeatedly and unfortunately shortly after the first time she blurted the question we were at the supermarket and she was a short distance from me yelling 'mummy, where's the f***ing book'. I said the thumbkin book is at home. She then started chanting the f***ing book is at home. You can imagine the looks of shock on all people around me.
