U will decide wht is right for you when bub comes And it may change as well ,thats ok you need to do what workds for you guys

DD has her cot in our rook and has had it since she was born, i could not imagine it any other way..I would not feel comfortable with out her being in reach of me ,she has slept in the cot and in our bed ,I find it easier as she feeds at night and wakes a lot , i find it easier not havng to go to another room for that.Also i know me and i know i would worry about her and want to go check her if she was in another room.

So now the cot in still in our room but we have our mattress on the floor,DD sleeps with us and in her cot ..She is noisy but we find it cute anf funny , with her wakeful nights we def get more sleep with her in our bed with her noises than we would if she was in another room..

She is now 9 months and i honestly can not imagine her being in another room..I think we will move her cot when she is ready, we are in no rush for it , we love her with us ,but im sure there will be a time when she needs her space hehehe
