Just quickly, while your at the gym just try not to overheat, when I was pg I kept going to the gym but was told to go easy as varying body temp too much could hurt bub. Hope all goes well for you!
If you can get yourself off the couch, then certainly you should go. My doctor just told me not to get my heart rate over 120 beats per minute, so your body temperature will not get too high as bub does not like being overheated, and I see everybody else got the same advise. Exercise is actually very good for the baby, when your heart rate goes up, bub's heart rate goes up too and his/her heart gets stronger. I excercised all the way through my first pregnancy and my daughter is strong like a bull :-)
I am 7 weeks today. I have worked out regularly pretty much my whole life. I run and strength train
5 days a week. However, for the past 2 weeks morning sickness has taken over and I am sick
to my stomach all day long. I haven't been to the gym once in the last 2 weeks bec I am on the verge
of puking morning, noon and night. I have tried nausea teas, wrist bands and gum.
They take the egde off but I still don't feel like I can get to the gym and move my body.
Any suggestions? I'm going crazy not being able to work out. Doc says I'm healthy and can keep
going. How can I tone down the nausea to get in a work out?
