hi, im 21 weeks pregnant and just wondering if it is ok if i can take panadol for a head ache ive had for 2 days?

Yes, panadol, even panadeine is safe in pregnancy.

But as Rolymogs said, you should just double check your BP etc. I went through bad migraines around the 14 week mark which lasted for around 10 weeks, but they have cleared up, and i was taking panadeine and other pain killers every day (under the supervision of my obs)

The only one you should avoid is nurofen, which is not paracetamol based.

Yep panadol is fine, I used to take it sometimes I would get horrible hormone headaches - just dull aches that would last for a couple of days. No fun

Thank you, i think that i just needed a good night sleep, i had a big weekend, i have now cought up on my sleep, hoping that was my problem.

yup panadol is fine, Herron specifically states that it's ok for pregnant women. I've taken them as pg has been giving me headaches as well, and they've lasted a few days. Once I've taken them it goes away. But yes, as the girls said, if you are worried check with your GP that your BP is ok.
