Sounds like you're doing pretty well Lise! 2-hourly feeds during the day (or even mor eoften) is totally normal. It'll get easier as your baby gets bigger and is able to feed more quickly. As for routine - don't expect anything before 12 weeks . Sometimes babies fall into patterns before then, but generally not. It's easiest to just go with the flow, especially early on. And, of course, as soon as you think you've got a nice routine going, they'll up and change on you anyway!
Do you have a sling or carrier of some sort for during the day? Anyway, hope you're taking advantage of feed times to get some rest.
You might want to call the ABA or get on to a lactaction consultant about the shields. No harm in using them, but they're a real nuisance!
Janie - sorry about the convulsions. That must be so scary But it sounds like Jazzy is doing wonderfully anyway!
Get well soon Smithy
Have my fingers crosssed for you Kelly
Hiya BW. Any more clarity on the IVF decision? It's a tough spot to be pushed into.

We're good. Just cruising along. I'm working, but actually getting paid to sit around at the moment as work's gone quiet. what a shame.
A continues to blather on non-stop. Oh, he came up with a cool name for the new baby the other day: Kicker.
