Hey Ltl Panda - good to see you again. Had a feeling maybe you were busy with your little niece (or with your own little one...)That must be really difficult for your sister - lucky you and your mum are there to help her out. Hope your time will be soon - as you can probably guess, we're all hanging out for your birth announcement

Glad you made it home ok Nic - too bad about the pics. Perhaps he'll be more cooperative next time.

    Congratulations Katones!

Congratulations on your engagement Kimbe - A baby and a wedding! (well, guess I don't know when you're getting married, but anyway). Hope you get to meet your little baby soon.

Jelly and I are getting engaged too, so to speak. Don't think it necessarily means anything aside from the fact that the poor little tyke has nowhere else to go. My (impatient-to-be-a-grandmother) mum reckons Jelly's coming at 38 weeks.

I made nappies this weekend - so proud of myself! They're quite messy, but hopefully functional, though one of the seams has come apart in the wash . woops. That was just a practice one anyway

    Catch you all later

    Hi all,
I made a huge post the other day but it got dropped from the system and then Celeste needed me so I coudnt redo it.

SOOO good to see you are ok Ltl panda! Wow, the 19th is only tomorrow!!!!! Good luck with the birth. I hope you get a lovely uncomplicated one.

Congrats Kimbe on your engagement! Your ring sounds beautiful too! It is really an exciting time for you two at the moment hey? Enjoy your mat leave. Rest up if you can. I know everyone kept telling me that and I didnt really but now I wish I had. hehe.

Marcellus, you are so good making your nappies. I should have as I have a good machine but I have ordered all mine off the net. I actually just recieved some premmie sized prefolds today in the post as all the others are sooooo enormous on Celeste still and the poor dear cant lie down flat with her enormous cloth but up in the air. I should have made them but too busy/or too lazy these days.

Nic, I am so happy that you are going well now. Really good that your levels are coming back down and you didnt have to go into hosp or on bed rest. Yay.

Katones, welcome!!! You have had amazing results, that is fantastic! Did you buy a lotto ticket too???? wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Mako, hope your Nan is going ok now. SO lucky the other lady was onto things. That is just awful for you and of course for her too.
I agree with you about when you feel totally over being pg, it is completely worth it afterwards. You can then enjoy having ankles again, being able to bend over without making old lady sounds, turn over in bed and all sorts of other things but you will be so in love with your baby that you wont even notice those things for a few weeks. It is strange that Celeste is one month old today and it feels like I have known her forever already. She has changed so much and is finally filling out a bit. She smiles and 'talks' and has the beginning of a giggle coming on now. I just love her to bits!

Hope you all get to enjoy your bubs really soon.!!!!

Hey chicks, thought I would write again.... today my back is killing me, lots of nerve pain in the Lumbur region, and have very strong period like pains in the lower abdomen.
Monnie, glad to read that work is good for you and that its offered you some type of flexibility.... tell you what though, you must have a long journey if you only get home at 3:30, you probably live far or get some crazy traffic....anyways its better to be in your own peace than at work.
Kimbe, great news hun... BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU, and yay for the additional scan, how exciting....
Welcome to Katones, may you have a lovely and peaceful pregnancy, blessings to you and the little one.
And Marcellus, wishfull thinking, I so hoped my little one to come at 38 weeks, I went as far as 1 hour if intense cardio each day that included cycling, running and skipping, and here I am one day before the due date still wishing for it to come at least one day early...But I do wish you all the luck in the world. Good on you for making nappies, well done....
Sazz, so happy that Celeste is doing well, you sound so happy and in love....so cannot wait.
Well girls, I hope that the next time i am on, its to announce the birth of my baby.
    Talk soon.

hmmm, pain... that must be a good sign Ltl Panda . Hope it all goes smoothly for you when your time comes. You're so right about the wishful thinking. I always figured I'd probably be late, not that I'd complain too much if I were early....but wow, how on earth did you manage all that exercise? I can't even manage a walk around the block without hobbling after about 5 minutes.

Sazz - the enormous cloth bum sounds really cute.

Ooh Ltl Panda, sounding promising there!

Just had to come in and brag about my bargain buy! Just ordered a copy of 'delivery by appointment' from QBD for 4 bucks! and 6 for postage lol. I thought it was a mistake, but it went through the checkout at that price.

Have been having some bad heartburn this week, and feel like MS is returning of a morning. Was asked to help out at the schools bookfair, setting up on Friday and selling books in the mornings next week. Said I would help out with setup, but not next week when I'm feeling all blurgh in the mornings. DD has been reminding me to breath big and deep, so very cute.

Lots going on in here to catch up on - i am having a sickie today as i am just exhausted and seem to feel like rubbish at night when i get home. So, a nice quiet day was on order. I don't feel bad - they pay me peanuts and i'm meant to be part-time already anyway. This might be the wake up they need.

Ltl Panda - good to hear you are both ok - but take things easy. I hope you are getting a chance to relax a little.

Sazz - oh the little cloth butt up in the air - very cute, but maybe not so comfie. Still, think of how you had to lie for the last few months!

Kimbe - congrats on the engagement. Not long to go now - aren't we all funny wanting to go as soon as possible! I don't want to wait much longer than the EDD - and i am paranoid now that he'll be an April Fool's arrival.

Marcellus - you are good making the nappies - I am buying mine - but DH is still really not happy about the MCN decision.

Katones - congrats my dear. 1st cycle too!

Hope to see some more newbies in here soon, as we have got four mummies already, and at least four of us are graduating in the next 2 months! My heart still aches for my LTTTC friends who haven't got their BFPs yet.

Nic - i have a bargain too! I bought 2 gro-bags off ebay - second-hand, but only $40 for 2 so if bugsy doesn't like them, at least them i haven't spent an arm and a leg.

Went to Ante-Natal classes on Sunday - and both DH and i were very pleasantly surprised. It was really well done and we had a great group. Pity they are all due at least a month after me (except one girl who was due in 2 weeks time!). So, I'm not expecting anyone to be in at the same time as us. We saw a Placenta too - which was interesting, but DH was a bit grossed out.

I have another scan next week - my ob says that they always do an extra check at 37 weeks for those of us who had difficulties etc. He is a darling and DH and i both really like him. Pity he is always running late!

That was a long post - hope everyone else is well and happy

I had a strange experience yesterday at work. Firstly I got told that I was showing - well I knew that already - then about 5 minutes after that a temp told me she didn't realise I was pregnant - then went on to say I seriously didn't look it - I didn't even have that bloated face look that most preggo women have. I think it was a compliment, not sure. Something she said made me realise that she didn't realise how old I was so I told her I was 41 and she nearly fell off the chair. She thought I was about 10 years younger than I am (I get this regularly, personally I can't see it, I think I look how you should look for 40 odd but a lot of people look way older than they should at 40) and then told me how brave I am to have a child at my age. Sorry did I hear that right? She even repeated it. No braver than any woman I think. I didn't get to find out what she meant as we got interrupted and as she's a temp I probably wont see her again. It was all very strange.

Marcellus - You know, a month back, i would have said i'm all scared and apprehensive...and you can go first. But now i just think, hmmm, I've had enough of being pregnant - and i just want to get started on our new life - whatever that may hold for us. I know it's going to be much harder, but the rewards will be endless and exciting.
I'm still only little though (8kgs is all so far), and we aren't 'engaged' yet like you and jelly are. My BH's are pretty infrequent too. I don't think i'm going to go early at all...knowing my luck we'll be having an April 1st baby!

Here is a dumb comment you can all laugh at...I know that mako, and Jo got some dumb comments too when they were pg, but i'll share mine as well.

DH was in the garage; nosey neighbour tries to strike up conversation with him. She says "Does Jo eat meat? (not, Is she a vegetarian?, but "Does she eat meat?") DH thinks 'What? Where is this leading? Hope they don't invite us over for a BBQ!' So he says "Yes, she does, we both do". Nosey neighbour says "oh, it's just that she's so skinny i guessed she didn't eat well". WTF??!! DIDN'T EAT WELL!! That is so rude! She's damn lucky i wasn't there as she may have copped it from me!
I'm not skinny, but that's not the point anyway - Why do some people think that calling someone skinny is any better than calling someone fat - and you should never do that either. And how dare she imply that i'm not looking after myself. Stupid Nosey Neighbour.
