Kar! How you going with your doppler?

Ive been getting some nice strong sounds but am worried How often is "too often" to be using it?

This morning I was the sickest ive ever been...yuck!

I had a scan on Tuesday, did I tell you all? (im so dumb, i get confused between all these threads!)

I had a lot of pain so had a scan and was AMAZED at how much i could see. everything was perfect!

There is a pic on juniors website

Hehe Danni, oh well, must be the black top in ur av that makes belly not stand out as much, as blends in with the wings. Cool side profile of bubs too. Hope ur feelin better now, maybe just ligaments stretching. Doppler, I used mine about once/twice / wk until started feeling bub move, then less often. Coz the hz is much lower than the u/sound machines is safer apparently & my obgyn told me that the only proof they have of toooo many u/sounds doing any damage is a small % decrease in birth weight.

Wow just realised ur past the halfway mark Kar, congrats.

    Hi girls,

Danni - I looked at your u/s pic - but none of it makes sense to me. Maybe when I have more experience at looking at them it will. Sorry. But what if I don't even understand my own u/s pics? lol I'm a lost cause.

Where did you guys buy the doppler from? They are only effective after 12wks, is that right?

I am majorly stressing out about my baby atm. The last two nights I have been having nightmares. Wed night I dreamt I ran into some friends in the street and told them I had a miscarriage, then said I don't want to talk about it and walked off. Last night I dreamt I had a b/t at 7wks and the HCG level was 500 and they told me the baby was dying inside me and they have to terminate the pregnancy. My DH told me it's natural to have these dreams as all women worry about the worst and probably dream the same things. But these dreams are terrifying me, as they are so realistic. I'm trying to put them out of my mind, but I'm afraid I'll have another dream tonight like them.

Sorry for the stressful nature of the post, I hope I don't upset anyone. Is this normal, or am I crazy? lol - or both.

    Belinda,

I had loads of those sorts of dreams too, and unlike most mums, I didn't often dream happy dreams of having baby home with me. But as you can see Charlie is here and is healthy and happy. You will be fine, hunny, I so believe that!
